No. West Hardin would have played SP in district. I believe WH had to pick up a non-district opponent this week due to KIPP schools not doing football any longer. -

Was the West Hardin v New Waverly JV game a result of this? I was wondering how many teams who lost their game with Sabine Pass were having to pick up JVs from bigger schools, I heard that Colmesneil had picked up Carthage JV for their Sabine Pass week as well. -

Stop with the rumor chatter/accusing OF on doing something illegal or not. Or any school at that matter. If you have proof send it in to UIL if not. Then this needs to stop immediately and get back on the subject… -
I just clicked on my past texts from March and they show the date and time. Also, a 22 year old uses correct punctuation, no emojis or abbreviations? Really???

HarryDoyle replied to Matthew328's topic in High School Football
I am aware, I am saying it happens more than once a lot. On both sides of being above or below the line, because the UIL needs to keep a certain number of schools in each classification/division. -

I agree. Falling just a few short happens. I'm not talking about it happening once. -

The numbers are the numbers. I didn't make those up. They're facts. Don't ignore them. My accusations are not "imaginary" because they have the basis of previous enrollment numbers. (If it happens) 3 consecutive times just short of moving up to 4A is most certainly worthy of asking the question: What are they doing and how are they doing it? Especially with that particular area of setx growing. -
Is it anyone else or just me that These text messages from shooter to trans partner seem off….. red flags for me im not a huge conspiracy person but I also don’t fully trust govt either.

Tyler Lions (1-2) at Lufkin Panthers (2-1)

Lufkin, 34-17 -
Lufkin (9-5A DI Reg III) and Tyler (7-5A DI Reg II) will finish their non district play Friday night at Abe Martin. Lufkin plays all of their non-district with teams to the North, in Longview, Nacogdoches, Little Rock SW, Ark and Tyler. Lufkin will head down South after this week to start district 9-5A DI play at Barbers Hill. [Hidden Content] Going to be a good game between two high octane offensive teams, which teams defense will step up to make the plays?

You saying Silsbee has played a weak non-district schedule? -
Nederland at #6 in the district looks about right.

Weak non-district schedule. Let's see how they do against much stronger teams in their district.

HarryDoyle replied to Matthew328's topic in High School Football
There are also instances all over the state of schools who regularly fall just a few students over the cutoff for the classification. With the way the snapshot works it would be hard to cheat the system consistently because they set the enrollment for alignment based off the data from snapshot numbers if I understand it correctly. -

It is 100% true that you have no evidence that OF has done anything nefarious. It is also 100% true that your accusations are “made up” and based solely on your “imagination”. Unless you have some proof? -

That's pretty insane when you think about who they've played in those regular seasons since then, more than a few times they got extremely lucky. -
That was their first regular season loss since 2021

I can only speak for me: Offense Run game and offensive line play I'd say way better this season. Passing game is a step back from previous seasons. Offensive play calling has been better too, I didn't expect that this particular season. Defense It's 50/50 to me, they're good (minus pass defense IMO) but they tend to go for the big hit and not wrap up consistently. I prefer a 4 man front but we play 3 man, which is okay at times I guess. 🤷🏾♂️ LBs absolutely get after it, that core is better than previous seasons for sure. DL is coming along, had to replace I believe 4 seniors on that line, will be able to really judge that position in district play. DBs overall have to get better in coverage. Special Teams Simply put IMO it's the same as previous seasons, the only change is the punter, we have our kicker punting this season unlike previous seasons where it was a WR punting.
