Was it several girls at Caldwell (like WV)? Also, whether the turf is hotter or the same is irrelevant.
-
Athletes don't always complain about these type of injuries. That type of behavior is just not encouraged in athletic circles. You know that. Mothers don't always take their children to the ER for burns/blisters and if they go to the ER they're not always referred to the burn unit. Scenarios just don't always play out like this but if they did lots of coaches would constantly be in trouble. There was a 7th grade girl who publicly complained of 2nd degree burns she got from bear crawls on a turf field last April in Caldwel though. And turf gets hotter than grass or asphault regardless of what type of filler is used by the way

The BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL - PASSED THE HOUSE

I think it’s important to remember—as much as I may wonder about some aspects—if something doesn’t pass, everyone gets a major tax increase. Especially the middle to lower classes. Add layoffs on top of that because of tax increases and it’s gonna be bigly ugly. Medicaid coverage will be secondary because people won’t have money to get to the doctor anyway. Dems ran on letting the tax cuts we have now expire, raising taxes on top of that, and not doing anything to make the government more efficient. Then, they have the audacity to gripe about misuse of Medicaid? Rich… -

With 100% certainty? No. But I do know many teams do bear crawls on their turf fields and I have never heard of any athlete complaining about getting burns or blisters from the turf. The likelihood of someone getting burns or blisters from bear crawls on a track are much much higher than doing that on any turf field. I think most folks would understand that difference. But I see that if one person got burns or blisters from bear crawls on turf while 100's got it while on a track, you would see it as the same. The point being, if that activity had to be a choice, then it would have been much more sensible to do that activity on the field and not the track. If you cannot see that, then I can't help you.
-
Do you know if the turf hasn't caused burns/blisters in the past?
-
Not nearly as hot as a track will get. Also, that turf at Woodville is the wood chip filler type. It stays much cooler than the rubber pellet filler turf fields. That turf would not have caused those type injuries.
-
It's easy for us to be super critical of the guy's mistake from the outside looking in but these suggestions make it clear some of us might not have done much better. The track definitely wasn't a good idea but the turf might not have been much better. Yall know how hot turf gets?

I have not either - I'm taking the words of the writers of the bill versus the opposition. I may read it once it is final - 1000 pages is a pretty good investment in time lol -

Honestly, I haven’t read it all yet because I’ve gotten to the point where I wait until its final. This Bill is going to have massive changes before/if it gets through. -

I think what you are missing is if Doctors, illegals and people who fraud the system are addressed, there would be no need for the same budget. The bill does not decrease funding for everyone..... Lastly, you are criticizing this bill based on Media coverage - my guess the same media that told you he was running circles around 20 year old's......or that Trump was a Russian asset..... I posted the entire bill - which my guess, like Obamacare, no one has read...... -

It's starting to feel like ground hog day or a really bad dream that I can't wake up from. Great starting pitching and crappy hitting!!! You know, the World Series season EVERYONE could hit. Heck, I think the parking lot attendant and the beer guy even got a hit that season. Last year the team struggled with the high fastball. No one could touch it. This season you could put it on a tee and they couldn't get a base hit. I've never seen anything like it. The pitching staff should start throwing at our hitters during batting practice, whip the hitters butt's or take them out for dinner. Something has to change and it has to change soon!!!
-
OK yall still gave up 100 plus and half the 165 was because EW barely even put a defense on the field
-
We did not give up130 points. The score of the Daingerfield game is wrong. It was 41 to 21 not 62 to 28. Newton scored 165 points to 98.
