Sabine Pass 2025 season in doubt??

Pretty sure their record shows that 1 or 2 kids out of the 10 will not receive scholarships. Said player would have to go to camps to be seen. -

Both sides were hiding something. Uncover all of them. There’s only one place for people like that. Prison doesn’t reform sex predators they are housed in protective custody and/or special housing. Everyday someone is posting on Facebook of a child that has gone missing. Biden administration was wrong and Trump administration was wrong. Trump needs to explain to the public and to the victims families why inmate Maxine is receiving special treatment. She is not in protective custody or special housing. -

Two more years... to learn how to catch? Look.. I know it may be hard to hear that they likely have zero players that will lose an athletic scholarship because of the football season folding, but the truth hurts sometimes. It's not meant to be offensive. It's an absolute fact that the chances of a Texas high school football player receiving a scholarship to play beyond high school is miniscule. Roughly 2% receive a scholarship of any kind.. less than 1% receive a full scholarship. If you line up 100 kids from the state (including Westlake, Southlake Carrol, Carthage, Aledo,.. hell... Katy, Barbers Hill, Nederland, WOS..), you honestly think that 2.. or 1.. out of that 100 will be a kid that plays at Sabine Pass High School? Get your feelings out of the equation, dude. And.. believing that a kid incapable of (catching) as a sophomore can somehow be "coached up" and become a scholarship player brings your knowledge of the game into question. -
And then you woke up. 😂

Yes I was there and watched and you can TOTALLY disregard all ferretts comments. Inaccurate. Ned is young and will take time to develop no doubt, but in the portion that was live it was evenly matched and WBs starters were in when Ned scored -

[Hidden Content] From the article... Mustangs scored twice and LCCP scored once. The Mustangs had a third TD (pass) called back on a inadvertent whistle. One of those TD’s was a long run by RB Khelvy Jefferson. “The defense ran around like we do,” Coach Hiawatha Hickman said. “We gave up the long ball and that’s probably on me more than them. We had a few guys out with sickness but I was happy overall. They are a quality team.” The Mustangs open at home next Friday against the Newton Eagles. “They’re fast,” coach said. “We’ll do our best to control the edge and keep them in the middle of the field.” -

Well, maybe they sat out on the offense. But I understand Ned scored on WB's 1st defense to make it 7 - 7. Also, in a scrimmage, you work against an opponent to get ready for the season. You don't scrimmage to prove a point. So, you are saying the Ned coach walked across the field and wanted to end the scrimmage? I heard it was weather related (lightening). Plus, I said they were evenly matched during the live portion. Can anyone confirm or deny what ferrett is saying? @navydawg31 @tvc184 -

NED scored against the backups. They scored once all day. WB had already proved their point. In this "live portion" WB got the ball scored and the starters took their pads off. LOL NED HC walked across the field and both coaches agreed to end the scrimmage. Go look at last yr remarks about the scrimmage. I believe this "live portion" NED scored once but we all saw that NED beat up on WB. No one made excuses that it was closer. 6 tds to 1tds. That's not evenly matched. -

I heard the live portion, first teams of each, and before it was called, it was 7 - 7. During this portion they were basically evenly matched. -
Yordan Alvarez 3-3 tonight with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. The Astros slugger is 5-7 during his rehab assignment. This is his second game with the Hooks

They didn't play fairly even at all. Both teams had nine poss. WB scored on 6 of them and NED scored once. WB pulled everyone and NED scored on the backups. WB first team went up and down the field. So did the second team. NED first team offense didn't score against WB first team defense in any portion. You are correct that 2nd team vs 2nd team was worse due to the lack of depth for NED. NED will be just fine but WB was too fast and deep tonight. -

We used to say the most dangerous towns had military bases because of the businesses they attract & other activities those businesses attract. I still think that’s true in many of these cases. The towns want the revenue from the military bases. But, they don’t like the criminal elements they attract. Double-edged sword. Near every military base is typically the ‘seedier’ side of town. That’s probably why Little Rock is on the list. -
Remember all those spare masks from COVID? 😁 In all seriousness, it’s a new finding. So, no one has probably even thought about it yet.

I am assuming that the Nederland first team offense played for one quarter against the WB first team defense. Then they swapped. The second teams came on and did the same. Then the one quarter game conditions… kind of. If that’s what I watched, only the WB second team obviously had more depth. What I am assuming were the first teams played fairly even although it was so highly regulated it was hard to tell. It seemed like anyone within about 5 feet of the quarterback was considered a tackle but they called it for both teams. It is better to be safe in a practice. -
