  1. Past hour
  2. I’m not sure what will happen, I was just sharing my opinion on who the "right guy" is. Who knows what they’ll do, but I’m sure he’ll stay where he’s at. Still, I’d be trying HARD to get him if they want to get the program back on the right track.
  3. They watched Orangefield play our second game on Day 1, so they brought in players that were not on their original roster for our game against them. At least three players on Day 2 were not there for Day 1. I was told they promised the Director they would be bringing only their local team or what they would refer to as their JV since they were a "Prep Academy" that recruits. Apparently they feared taking a loss in 3A/4A tournament, so we were told the other three players were from their National Travel Team, which consists of 3, 4, & 5 Star Recruits. The cussing, chirping, and tryin to start fights started even before tip off. (I've seen teams like this in AAU, but never in a UIL Sanctioned Game) This is typical when these kinds of teams are afraid of losing to a small school team, they try to scare players acting like they want to fight and pull all that mess. Our country kids aren't scared of anything but God and their Daddy's and Momma's though, lol. Their coaches were jawwing at our players while on the floor, and their players were goin at Whitmire as well. Their players were making sexual gestures at our players and fans in the crowd during the game, which was brought a step further when one of their coaches made the same sexual gesture at one of the Moms in the crowd. Cops were brought in, and Im honestly not sure why the game wasn't stopped unless it was a UIL need to let it finish. They were hands down the most classless and poor representation of a high school program that I have ever seen. I feel sorry for the parents of kids that are having to pay to go to school there. There Head coach was in the news and convicted of embezzling over a million dollars from his company just six months ago. (the players were showing me pictures from the news.) He is on probation, coaching his son's high school team, trophy hunting in a small school tournament. I'm biased, but I believe we still beat them if my son doesn't pull his hip flexor in the 2nd quarter. They were already getting in foul trouble and sending him to the line, which was the plan.
  4. PA is playing at Legacy Stadium the same time as the WOS game
  5. I would imagine mocks start coming out after they release the cutoff numbers. The past two realignments they have released the cutoff numbers on December 8th. Maybe we see them some time today.
  6. I was born and raised here. Like I need you to tell me about chemical plants. Some people….lmao. Do you drive an EV? Then don’t complain. The topic was pipelines and how the Keystone was shut down by Biden, supposedly because they damage the environment. If they’re so bad, why are there an infinite number of pipelines. It was all designed to drive up gas prices and the demand (threats) to push EVs. Your president couldn’t tell you anything because he didn’t know his own name and someone else was running the show. No complaints from you.
  7. Today
  8. Championship GSF - 54 Zavalla - 39
  9. Correct. No forfeit. Game goes down as a loss for Orangefield. Austin Prep was removed from tourney so that put Orangefield in championship game. Must have been some really bad stuff for them to get kicked out of the tourney on the second day. Would like to hear some details.
  10. Definitely a winnable group. Need to take advantage of that first-game excitement and put Paraguay away early. Australia will be a war, whether we want it to be or not. Most likely Turkey in the 3rd game and take care of business
  11. I wasn't told that they had to forfeit their win against us, but I do know they were told that they were not allowed to come back the following day due to multiple incidents involving their players and coaches.(I would think UIL would have to get involved for their win to be changed to a loss, correct?) Their removal from the tournament did put Orangefield back in the Championship Game against Jim Ned though.
  12. Scales pulled his hip flexor at the start of the 2nd quarter in the Semi against Austin Prep. Austin Prep won that game but was told they were not allowed back due to multiple on court incidents involving their coaches and their players. I was not told that would be a forfeiture of their win against us, but rather a removal of them from the tournament, which then put us back in the Championship Game against Jim Ned. Yes, great win for the Bobcats with Scales being out of the lineup.
  13. Your president would have you to believe it is Tylenol. 😂
  14. This is what EPA says about the community you live in. Yes, chemical plants in Southeast Texas pose significant health hazards, with residents facing elevated risks from carcinogens like benzene and 1,3-butadiene due to frequent toxic releases, despite EPA regulations and state oversight; recent events and studies confirm ongoing issues with pollution, lack of enforcement, and disproportionate impacts on nearby communities, leading to calls for stronger action to protect public health. Key Health Concerns & Pollutants: • Carcinogens: Benzene, 1,3-butadiene, and ethylene oxide are common emissions, linked to leukemia, respiratory illnesses, and reproductive issues. • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) ([Hidden Content], toluene, and others cause headaches, dizziness, and respiratory irritation. • Particulate Matter & Ozone Toxic smog from industrial activity leads to lung damage, aggravated asthma, and pneumonia. Regulatory & Enforcement Issues: • State vs. Federal: While the EPA sets standards, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has faced criticism for being less stringent, with some Texas standards allowing higher emissions. • Frequent Violations: Reports show daily unauthorized air pollution events in Texas, though penalties are infrequent. • Industry Influence: Critics point to industry influence over regulatory bodies, hindering effective oversight and enforcement. Impact on Communities: • Environmental Justice: Latinx communities, especially in areas like Houston's east side (Pasadena, Deer Park, Channelview), bear a disproportionate burden of toxic releases and related health problems. • Daily Exposure: Residents report constant chemical odors, affecting daily life and increasing illness. EPA is not a joke. Just ask your surrounding neighbors. I know it does not support the MAGA narrative.
  15. You believe everything you read as long as it’s anti Trump, lol. Your article, like most of yours, is complete nonsense.
  16. Did he find out if the school is actually considering someone local for the position? And did he say what the next step is after Friday’s game?
  17. Environmental groups were simply smoke and mirrors. Where were they when these were constructed? Seems to me Americans know what needs to be done. EPA is a joke. America built all of these pipelines. Next time you gas up, thank a pipeliner.
  18. China Spring is Open Head Coach Tyler Beatty has been reassigned his team won the 2022 4A Division 1 Championship
  19. Anyone know when the mocks will start coming out? Wondering if we‘ll see some changes to the districts locally. Hoping they use their damn heads and put PNG back in region 3.

  21. While Donald Trump's policies aimed to boost coal, critics argue his administration hurt coal towns by cutting economic development programs, reducing health/safety enforcement for miners (increasing black lung risk), and failing to diversify economies away from a declining industry, leaving communities vulnerable despite rhetoric promising revival. His focus on propping up coal led to environmental rollback battles, but couldn't stop market decline, ultimately hurting long-term community stability. Arguments that Trump Hurt Coal Towns: • Budget Cuts: Proposed eliminating key federal programs supporting coal community economic and workforce development, harming areas already struggling. • Health & Safety Rollbacks: Reduced funding and paused rules (like silica dust) for agencies protecting miners, leading to concerns about rising black lung disease and miner safety. • Economic Vulnerability: His focus on coal failed to address long-term economic diversification, leaving towns dependent on a shrinking industry despite market realities. • Broken Promises: Despite promises to bring back coal jobs, the industry continued its decline, and miners faced increased health risks without adequate support, notes CNN ([Hidden Content]). Keystone had Environmental groups vehemently opposing Keystone XL due to risks of oil spills, potential contamination of water sources like the Ogallala Aquifer, and increased greenhouse gas emissions from extracting tar sands oil. Keystone pipeline was not safe for the environment and the original investors lost interest. The economy was heathy and thriving and groceries were affordable before MAGA.
  22. Still the fastest lineman I’ve ever seen…
  23. Will be b2b with PAM if both get in
