Lol ikr... But the fact that Coldspring did better in this one lets me know that we still need to gel in the new system and we will be fine later on this season. -

hearsay, in that I heard two of the bigger sports names in the area say it. As well as other people who were there. Pretty much everyone except for two or three nederland guys, if we're being honest. I remember when I was in 9th grade we scrimmaged Ozen in basketball, and they beat us by 50, but we won the 4th quarter by 2! Our coach made sure we knew about that 4th quarter. - Today

One more thing about this "live portion" WB drives down the field throws a pick on the 2yd line. NED doesn't start on the two. WB kick off to NED. None of this was a real football game. Brock Anderson who caught two tds yesterday is a freshman. WB doesn't have many seniors. -

Very undisciplined. Lots of unsportsmanlike penalties, especially after the fight. Think it went like 10-12 straight plays with a penalty -

Don't let the fact that while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, 'Spare Tire' Dixon, distract you from the fact that this conversation is about a scrimmage. -

From what I have seen on this message board is that Nederland is young this year. We have to remember that freshman and JV football is a lot different from varsity. It will take time for the youth to adjust to varsity. It appears that the main issue will be defensively. For some reason and I certainly don’t know why, the Bulldogs haven’t played good defense since Delbert Spell retired. I can’t tell whether it a lack of talent, coaching issues, no priority for good defense, are a combination of these issues. Hopefully they can get a lot of these defensive issues solved in the next few weeks -
lol. Sometimes, when someone got up to adjust the rabbit ears, just them touching it would make the picture crystal clear, and we would make them stand there for a few minutes. The first remotes simply turned the dial and you would have to go from 4, 6, and 12 till it got to the right number. lol
-
I would add having to get up to turn the TV on and change the channel, choosing one of three.

In regards to Vidor/Nacogdoches/Jasper scrimmage, another very reliable source told me Jasper looked very undisciplined on both sides of the ball. Lot's of penalties, missed assignments and too much extra curricular going on. Heard this was the case last week as well. -

My source (on job) said starters didn’t sit during live portion. Again, there was no beat down during live portion. Again, this is according to my source (on job). -

whatever y'all need to tell yourselves, I guess. I get that it's "just a scrimmage", but really? when you get beat so bad one team sits starters during the live portion that's saying something. -

Nobody questions the 6-1. But that was total in a practice situation. You know, players going in and out. Also, 2nd and 3rd teams playing. But in the live, game conditions it was 7-7 and evenly matched at that point. Basically 1st against 1st. One friend here said he was sitting next to PA coaches and they remarked Ned doesn’t look bad. -

John Bolton's home and office raided by federal agents

Roger Stone - "Hey John, how does it feel to have your home raided at 6AM"? LOLOLOL CNN reporting on this is so biased it is ridiculous. -
He would still have to sign that form regardless, even if he took choir, the wording of current and previous in the articles defines time. We are in current season and no participation has started so we'll see how this goes, chances are he's probably going to blow his HS career. I'm kind of excited to follow this one. I agree he should just suit up and get to work.
-
He has participated. Would be no different than a player transferring after playing last season. If it is determined the transfer is for athletic reasons (which this one would clearly be) then he will be ineligible. I can't see any DEC ruling him eligible. No matter if he establishes residency. Also, the word I am getting on this situation is this young man has got the wrong people in his ear telling him he doesn't have to go by the team rules. They had some issues last season. Not a team player. Thinks he is above the team and should be treated special. He came in this season with the attitude that you can't win without me so therefore treat me that way. Brenham will never sign off on him and whatever district he transfers to (if he does) that DEC will not rule him eligible. I will say, if he were to transfer, his best bet would be with Navasota. It's possible that the two Fort Bend schools (Crawford and Willowridge) along with Stafford, could vote in his favor just to keep the opportunities open for themselves when transfers come their way. He would need to transfer now so that DEC can make the ruling. Next year a different DEC could be in play with realignment.
