  2. Phil Danaher is the winningest head coach in the history of Texas high school football coaches. 41 consecutive playoff appearances... since you brought up losing seasons. However, he never won the title. So.. is he elite? Some people (cough cough) would say no, because he never won the state championship. What are your thoughts?
  3. I actually went to the game.. (invited by an old friend). Orangefield's defense is much more aggressive in person than I saw each time I watched them play on NFHS. I'm impressed with how they get in your pocket.. so to speak. And. I really like 24's game. His ability to penetrate the paint at the end was one of the differences in the game. However.. could someone tell him that it's not necessary to have a conversation with an official literally every dead ball situation? I'm surprised OF didn't catch a tech because of that annoyance alone. There were a couple times I thought for sure they would've gotten one but didn't. Either way, congrats on the hard fought win. Definitely a positive that WW went small. That'll make it more attainable.. but Madison won't be a pushover by any stretch should you get this win over London. Best of luck, guys.

  5. So, with all the anti Trump rhetoric about this, it cost me what…..$50?. Lmao What a terrible sacrifice to make to get rid of the most evil terrorist regime since the 40s.
  6. That's why I said "some". The type you have referred to I don't have a problem with.
  7. Conference tourney's and NCAA tourney will get me through to April. Then it's Master's time and MLB. Also will be beach time!!!
  8. I use an @ post when I reference another poster's idea. I don't do it very often. But, when I do, I want to give them credit, and let them know I used their post/idea if using it to post with someone else. Personally, I don't think they're a bad thing on their own. When used childishly, I can see them being a problem. I don't even have my notifications turned on.
  9. Trump said that he thinks the war is pretty much over and the market is acting accordingly. I hope the Iranians feel like it’s over, too. The last thing we need is them sinking a tanker in the Strait.
  10. 2A DI San Augustine vs. Hearne at Athens HS, 6:30pm (winner faces Panhandle/Waco Meyer winner)
  11. Monday March 9 2A D2 Gruver vs. Lipan Mumford vs. Martin's Mill 1A D1 Valley vs. Munday Huckaby vs. Fayetteville 1A D2 Whitharral vs. Jayton
  12. I think the spike has spiked......
  13. That’s a huge drop. Not sure why.
  14. I 100% agree. I have always had an issue with some of the @ posts. Completely unnecessary. I say we put a stop to it going forward.
  15. Crude down to $84.90 a barrel. I expect to see my gas station’s price to reflect that on the way home today. Lol
  16. I think you’re right about the EVs. They were shoving us that way, kicking and screaming.
  17. The SPR? I’ll have to look when he did it. Was it before any elections? 🤷‍♂️ You know he tried, well maybe not him, to drive us towards EV’s by driving the cost of gas up.
  18. I hear what you’re saying, but if this is so, why did Biden deplete the SPR if he was trying to drive prices up? Demand soared upwards when the economy got hot during the end of Covid and production wasn’t ready to keep up… that’s where the higher prices came from. The president can’t just say “I want high prices (or low ones” and move the markets. They’re still ruled by supply and demand. Banning drilling and closing pipelines? Sure, it can affect supply in the long run, and therefore prices, much like starting a war in the Middle East can do in a much shorter period of time. US will guarantee the vessels and cargo, and offered protection. No takers, though. It’s one thing to say “if something bad happens, we’ll make you whole,” but I’d rather skip having my tanker blown up.
