Well, you are involved. Most parents treat school as an 8 hour daycare. Not sure of your age, but I may have a generation on you. In my day, you signed nothing. Teachers would spank you, sit you in the corner afterwards, or if need be, send you to the principal. Just receiving a spanking involved a note to your parents. Guess what, you got another spanking.
