  3. This is updated. Keep up. Better yet go to the economy thread and I’ll meet you there.
  4. Is kickoff at 7 or 730pm?
  5. Will be following as well in TigerNation as this is one of three teams that will be common opponents between HF & Silsbee. Broussard came out the gate hot so Im expecting a small step backward for the SOPH QB. Not a dig, just my opinion. Gimme HF 28-26 with a key stop for 2 point conversion in this game.
  6. Way ahead of you. Look at your own thread title. There is already an economy thread.
  7. Think HF can take them this time give me 28-21

  9. Claudia Sahm, chief economist at New Century Advisors and a former Federal Reserve economist. “It’s hanging out in a place of very, very slow growth, and that makes the economy vulnerable to a recession.”

  11. There is already a Epstein thread.
  12. I mentioned electric bills. What’s next, pizza sauce? You went off topic with job growth. Try and keep up. You hacked your own thread. Not just everyone can do that. Lol
  13. These aren't your words are they? It looks like copy and paste. Which is fine. But you need to give credit to whoever you are plagiarizing. We need to know exactly who is saying these words. Heck -- you could be quoting from your comrade in arms named Putin!
  14. Today
  15. What happened to your Epstein addiction? Oh yeah, the facts hit the fan. On to electric bills and job growth. You’ll find some thing eventually.
  16. The report comes as both elevated interest rates and Trump’s sweeping tariffs weigh on an economy that depends on consumer spending. For the first time since 2021, there are now more unemployed Americans than there are open jobs — even as the president’s immigration crackdown reduces the supply of workers.
  17. And in a further blow to President Donald Trump, manufacturers continued to shed jobs, with employment down by 78,000 this year despite the administration’s drive to promote investment and growth in that corner of the economy.
  18. Nope not at all... I can only see Coldspring and Anahuac battling for that 4th spot
  19. The tariffs and crackdown on illegal immigration would have an effect and most folks know this, also past interest rate hikes have had an effect on hiring. I guess we should have kept kicking the can down the road to keep democrats happy.
  20. BH qb will have another letter jacket to add to his collection. Best of luck the rest of the way.
  21. The job loss was due to the ICE raid at a Hyundai plant where 475 illegals were rounded up. Home Depot has shown a drop in employees and customers. When this is cleaned up and “real” Americans can be employed, the figures should reflect a positive turn. Four years of Bidenomics doesn’t clear up overnight, but keep posting away. Hey, you could quote yourself. Did the Epstein thread blow up in your face? Keep circling the threads. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then.
  22. U.S. job growth has almost entirely ground to a standstill, according to government data released Friday. The numbers added to growing concerns that President Donald Trump’s policies have pushed the economy toward a problematic mix of low growth and stubborn inflation. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that the U.S. added 22,000 jobs in August, well below expectations for 75,000. Employment data for June was revised to show a net loss for that month, the BLS said, though July’s figures were revised slightly higher. Yep, economy is doing just fine. The BLS said Friday that the unemployment rate ticked higher to 4.3%, a level not seen since Sept. 2017 outside of the Covid-19 pandemic. More than one-quarter of all unemployed workers have now gone without a job for more than six months, the highest level since June 2016.
