Today's finale of the SFA series has been pushed back to tomorrow. The SLC baseball portion of the conference website is terrible, no hyperbole. Each week the conference standings are wrong. Bad wrong. Today, it has SFA and Lamar's records reversed. HCU and McNeese are playing game 3 of their series right now, yet the website has each with 6 conference games already played. I could go on....

My personal opinion is the depth in 12-5A is better....if you take the top 4...they are probably pretty similar in fact 11-5A D1 may get a slight edge...but 12-5A's depth is the difference...Shoemaker, Connally and Hendrickson are going to be picked 5th, 6th, 7th...they would be multiple TD favorites IMO over 5,6,7 in 11-5A D1....Freeman may change that but we simply dont know right now what they'll be year one...but every week in 12-5A except for maybe one week you have to battle....there's at least 3 gimmie games in 11-5A D1 and maybe 4

Yeah. I saw something somewhere that Weiss was overcrowded for the build, and they didn’t want to expand because of overall enrollment drop.

I was told Weiss will be 5A D2 next realignment 🤷🏾‍♂️ we'll see.

Weiss was on a very good roll. They were the worst matchup LP could have drawn. LP pass D has never been a strength & Weiss capitalized. LP imploded. I just don’t see much difference in 11-5 & 12-5. In fact, I think 11, 12, & even 9 are pretty balanced. I think the top 4-5 in each district come PO time may be pretty evenly matched. We’ll see. Every year is different. I’m curious how Pflugerville rezoning affects Connally, Weiss, and P High.

And of course 4th place Weiss beat LaPorte

I would have thought they would have played in College Station/Bryan.
