Saw some of those Massey predictions. Some are wildly off. Not saying this is one of them but any rating predicting Kountze to beat Buna and Hamshire-Fannett to beat La Marque by 4 TD's is not to be looked at too seriously.

This may be a hot take but I don't see Crawford coming close to LP. LP returns with arguable a top 5 offense in 5A behind the Dallas schools and if the defense can hold up, there shouldn't be any issues.

I'd expect LP to use the first few series to try to establish the run game as usual. If they are able to control the ground, and get a lead, then we may see some of the new offensive schemes to mix it up. Not sure if they'll want to play it close to the vest and not show much before the Border Battle next week, or if they'd prefer to get the in-game work, and put stuff on film to make the Deer have to think about defending different looks. I do expect a 'pointy game.' But, I'd be pleasantly surprised if the D held the Chargers somewhat in check considering their youth, and historical weakness against the pass. If they show they can slow/stop the passing game of Crawford, my expectations for them will go way up.
