Coach Foster and I had talked earlier in the season and he told me this might be his last year to coach but still wasn't sure. Well, he is sure now.
It's been a great privilege to cover his teams. I always enjoy watching his teams play. They are always one of the best coached teams year in and year out.
But it's more of an honor and privilege to call Kevin my friend. He is just an absolute great man. He and his dad are the reasons I am a big Big Sandy fan.
I will miss Coach on the sidelines. Just won't be the same without him. But I also know we will keep in touch and he will be greeting me when I attend Wildcat basketball games.

I am all for multiple sport athletes. I always say play as many as you can in high school.
But during that sports season, a player should not be going through drills for another sport. Particularly contact drills.
It's my understanding this was a decision by coach, not player.

The kid has a future playing D1 baseball.  Having baseball kids in pads in April during the district season and playoffs is a good way to get all those kids to quit football.  

Absolutely no reason for that young man to be participating in spring football while being a starter for the baseball team.

Friendswood is off the final week. Their district season is over.
The rest will play their final two games this coming week.
In a 7 team district, one team has to be off each week.

That doesn't matter.
The Newton kid is a soph. Had over 3000 yards of offense and 47 TD's
