32 Persohn is a Junior........not a senior!!!!  And HJ will always have shooters!!!!

[/quote]I think next year will be an upyear for HJ.  They will miss Gus and Sutherland, but there will be some talent coming up.  I'd be happy to see this coincide with a downyear for Silsbee.

I think [b]Lubbock Estacado[/b] has something to say about that. ;D

I do not know if I agree that this is Silsbee's best team, but it is one of the best. Last year's team was pretty good. This team is a different type team. Better, deeper bench, much more speed and quickness. But we do not have two '6"7 players either.

I'll hold my thoughts for later in the season about this being Silsbee's best. ;)

Who will be back for Silsbee next year?
If I thinking correctly:
Gaines, Holmes, Elam & Barclay will be back
If that’s true than I don’t see Silsbee having a horrible year
I do see HJ giving them trouble but I don’t see HJ just outright crushing them
Also Silsbee will probably move up 2 or 3 freshman that look pretty athletic which should help

If that is the case than we will be just fine

There is a lot of speed and shooters listed up there

Also if they move that Patrick kid up along with a couple of more freshman than they should have a good bench as well

Then you should know how to take down HJ:
Run Run Run and hang in there thru the 1st, 2nd & 3rd then take them down in the 4th  ;D ;D

Love to see what Pattrick can do against Bosha

"I think Pershon is 6' 4" and Carr in 6' 7" and Bosha is 6' 3" and still growing. We will however be losing almost our entire bench.

HJ is taller than Silsbee this year and that doesn’t seem to be hurting the Tigers

Alright guys..  ;D I was quiet and didnt say anything negative until after the game to see what the score would end being.. I dont want to cause too much trouble, but I remember being told by quite a few people on this site about the "history" and how it's "tradition" for Silsbee and HJ to split the district games.. I saw this coming from the start of the season and knew that HJ had NO chance of beating Silsbee.. The next things that I predicted is that HJ and SIlsbee will NOT play again this year ( In other words, HJ will lose before they reach Silsbee again in the playoffs ).

On on a much more friendly note, Congrats to the Silsbee Tigers for TCB and setting themselves up to win another district title! And good luck to HJ with the rest of their season and getting ready for playoffs!

HJ is taller than Silsbee this year and that doesn’t seem to be hurting the Tigers

But Silsbee has the best player in SE Texas and another guy easily in the Top 10!!!!  A luxury they won't have next season!!!!
