Let me see, you have been watching current freshmen for four years.  Am I correct in assuming that means you have watched them since they were in the sixth grade and there are 30 or more in that class that are better than Bosha as freshmen in the Houston area?

The Tune man and the big Red head .  Word is that freshman Tyler Tune will return to Nederland next year . Big time 3 range with the height to get it off .
Also, English's back up post , Colton Weisbrod , is only a freshman .  Not just tall , but physical and knows the game .

Dove has been watching Se tx, Houston, Dallas and other talent for a few years.

It is agreed that Bosha is a good player, with tons of potential.

Has anyone else gone out and seen some of the other good freshman players to compare them?  Or is your opinion based on just watching Bosha's play alone?

Just curious if people are out comparing.

If we get real honest here, these are all opinions.  I would bet a dollar to a doughnut that nobody from around here has been all around the state watching the best freshmen playing.  It is very unlikely that anyone on this board has any ability to DOCUMENT that Bosha is one of the best freshmen and EQUALLY unlikely that anyone can DOCUMENT than he isn't.

Doesnt take any special talent to list some names.  I am simply saying that unless someone has seen these "thirty or forty" freshmen all play this year in a high school game, I would think it is  very difficult to make accurate comparisons.  And then if one does, it still is simply the opinion of one.  I have no idea where he stands in comparison against other freshmen and wouldnt dare suggest that I do.  I have been around the game of golf quite a bit and have seen some of the best play but that certainly doesnt mean I have the capability of ranking the players.

Sounds like he is a really great player.  One down and 29 or 39 to go.
Correction
He is the #4 or #5 ranked player in SETX
Not #1
But on a side note there is some 14yr olds out there that could do the same  ;D
Mavis Saunders 9th grader 6'4, khadeem Lattin 6'8" or 6"9" Kelly Oubre 6'4" . I'm kind of cheating because these are my son's teammates and I'm just warming up ;)

Not cheating at all.  You have obviously seen them play and have a good idea of what they are capable of.  I am still, however, struggling with the thought that you have had the time to watch 30 or 40 2010-2011 freshman enough to rank them all.  If you have, I respectfully withdraw my comments.  On the other hand, to truly know where he ranks, wouldnt it take a rather large consensus to validate that?

Exactly... so there is the answer, who can compare.  Although Dove has seen many play in the summer as have I.

As far as most valuable,  I agree to disagree,  i know of a few that are also as valuable as freshman to their teams. I agree he is the most valuable freshman playing varisty for HJ.
