Kfdm reported he is not living with a parent he is living with a LCM player. thats a rock solid story  ;)
KFDM spoke with his Father. Father said the player is living with his dad in the LC-M school district, end of story!
Everyone has an opinion on this but the truth is if UIL does not decide to investigate then yea coop, it is the end of the story.

If they do decide to investigate, then after they make their decision will be the end of the story.

BTW.....LCMers are posting that someone outside of their district sent the letter. Have you ever thought that maybe a mom or dad of a kid on the LCMs team sent the letter.

Just sayin  ::)
you would think KFDM would speak to father before going on the air with it?  It's like KFDM did it backwards..check the facts then run the story..not run story and then check facts..
It is a story even if the conclusion is that no rule was violated. The investigation itself is a story.

Transfering for athletic reasons is hard to prove. If a parent buys a house and says they like the area so they moved can you call them a liar and refuse to let them into your school? A person would almost have to say they are moving for athletic reasons to prove it.

Vidor has open enrollment now. With these schools going to this type of policy..How will UIL be able  to keep up with why a kid transfers?
If little Johnny decides he wants to go to a school with an open campus and he transfers..Then he turns out to be a good football player. How will the UIL deal with these cases?

it does not matter if the kid lives in LCM. if you leave a school and go to another for athletic reasons you have to sit out a year and since he was with WOS as of May i think its safe to say thats not a year

LC-M is kicking butt, so naturally they must be cheating. PLEASE!!!

The real story is:

1) KFDM reported a rumor, tried to crawfish.
2) UIL should not accept anonymous letters.
3) Zinger wrote the letter and should be banned from SETXsports.

If a kid transfers to a new school (and the parents move/live in that district), he must sit out for 15 days. If a kid moves into a new district and the parents reside outside of said district, he must sit our one calendar year from the day he enrolled (only applies to Varsity, the kid can play JV).

That is the UIL rule. He must also have a Previous Athletic Participation form signed by both schools saying that it was not for athletic purposes.

If the parents are married or separated, both parents have to make the move to the new district, not just one.
(g) SEPARATED PARENTS.
(1) If a student’s parents separate (and are not divorced), and if one parent remains in the
attendance zone where the student has been attending school, the student’s residence is
presumed to be that of the parent who did not move.
(2) If a student transfers to a new school with a separated (but not divorced) parent, the
student is ineligible for one calendar year
