Evadale JV    20

Colmesneil JV  0

The Rebel JV are now 3-0 for the season. QB Devon Murphy threw two TD passes to Shawn Totten on for 35 yds and the other for 20 yds. Freshman RB Sklyar Smith scored on a 35 yd run.

Having this program in place for the past couple of years has given Evadale a huge boost including the 3 wins this season the Rebel JV record is 16 -3 in the past two years +3 games.

The Rebels travel to WH next week as they enter the heart of their schedule. They have 9 games scheduled for this year, but seeing that High Island has a team they may have a 10th game for this season.

Great job JV Rebels keep things rolling!

Ouch - how many yards did that Dayton JV offense have tonite?

Wasn't at the game, but...

The flu is really hitting the Broncos hard this week...

Don't know if any JV players missed because of illness.

I do know many of the JV players were pulled up for this week.

Hopefully the varsity players get better soon.

Ouch - how many yards did that Dayton JV offense have tonite?

They had at least 350 yards probably to KPs ~100.  KP intercepted a pass for a touchdown in the second quarter, and couldnt move the ball well all night.  Dayton had the ball first and goal with under 3 minutes to play, but could not score.  KP gave up a safety with 40 seconds left to get the free kick. After the free kick, Dayton ran 3 plays, but never threatened.

Hard not to score points with 350 yards offense. Must have had a lot of turnovers or 4 drives stopped inside the 20!

Anyone know what the score was between the Jasper 8th grade and WOS 8th grade?

Silsbee 8th grade faces these two teams next, was just wondering what the outcome was.

27 - 22 Jasper is what I think I saw on the other thread.  Not sure if it was a final.

That was someone's prediction for tonight.  Careful you might get redirected to the appropriate thread this the 9th grade and jv thread after all.
