Evadale looks to be fielding their weakest team in 10 years.  It happens, cant always be on top and they will be back but it'll be a couple years. Conrats to Warren on the win.

Its bad enough when palyers get on this site and most coaches discourage it.  I find it "sophomoric" for a coach to get on here and act stupid...JMO! Kountze thought they had a good one in Stew, I said I didnt agree. Kountze thought they had a good one in Lance, I did agree. Kountze thinks they have a good one in Franklon, well, JMO again, I disagree. Good luck to Kountze, I think they will continue to need it!

I believe the jest of the Pirate posters is that there is a poster from HD that has no respect for any team or community in SETX, if he does he certainly never shows it.  He's known to talk a ton of smack and when the results don't go his way, he brings up the past and the long winning streak from the 40's or whatever.  Or in this case, bails completely.  Anyway, congrats on the win Pirates.

Heard Trinity was big and fast!  Two things the Rebels are not.  I wonder what's going on with the spirit the Rebels have had the last 4 years?  Very quiet before games, while running out and while the game is under-way.  And it can't help that a starter for the last two weeks has missed the game due to discipline problems. Come on Evadale, dig deep and remember what you're playing for!

Pirates by as much as they want.

Evadale has been flying high for the last 3 years coming off 3 straight district titles; over these last 3 years there have been some quality players (close to 35, I think) graduate and left some big holes.  And 35 in a 1A school is a TON!  That, and given that the would be statring QB decided to go basketball only,  that's a load to over come. The Rebs will get it ironed out when it counts. Congrats to Kountze and Dale on a good start to the early season. 

I've said before and I must say again, the Rebs have been on top and looking good for the last 4 or 5 years.  But this year is a rebuilding year for Evadale.  They will be ok in district but will in no way stack up to the teams that won the last 3 district championships!
