rupert3 Posted Friday at 02:14 AM Report Posted Friday at 02:14 AM But But why leave them in soooo long. I don't mind losing but not like that. Isn't that is what the bullpen is for? Just saying 16-2 Quote

After it got to 14-2, I would have had no problem leaving King in for another inning. Game was over at that point. myrecordwashorrible 1 Quote

rupert3 Posted Friday at 02:32 AM Report Posted Friday at 02:32 AM I agree to a point but at one time, there was a salvage point and we didn't make a move. So that's baseball I guess, Arlington wins 2-0. Nite Nite all. Getting old ya know Quote
myrecordwashorrible Posted Friday at 02:48 AM Report Posted Friday at 02:48 AM Eight runs over this game and the previous 3 not counting what they may do in a meaningless 9th inning. Not a good time for the offense to fizzle. Early in the game the booth was discussing Lambert's workload and then he struggled, if he has hit a wall it's going to get tough to hang on to the West and a series loss to the Angels at home is not helpful. It's baseball though and who knows what will happen at the end. AggiesAreWe 1 Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago I don't think I have ever seen a relief pitcher give up more 2 strike hits than Bryan Abreu. smh baddog and rupert3 2 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago Houston led 3-1 going into the 8th. Lose 4-3. Still remain 1 game up on Arlington. rupert3 1 Quote

Hiw about the stat anniunced during the game stating the Astros have a tremendous record when the clean up hitter has an RBI? My take has nothing to do with great win percentage in thst scenario, it's how in the heck does the 4 hole have less than 50 RBI through 130 games. They weren't referencing a specific person who has hit in that spot. It was the 4 hole in all games. That's not good. Bad loss tonight. AggiesAreWe 1 Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted 58 minutes ago Report Posted 58 minutes ago Houston was 3-6 in this homestand vs. Mariners, Angels and A's. This stand may very well have cost the Astros dearly. Houston and Arlington are now tied myrecordwashorrible 1 Quote
