PolkHighLegend Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Chapel Hill was not the Chapel Hill of old. Every team that made the playoffs in 10-4A would have beat them. BC will beat Navasota as well and then it's over. Kilgore will beat them by 28+ That is not to discredit them in any way but Kilgore is just a different beast. TheMissingBand Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I distinctly remember a thread last week where it was stated that Lum might have a chance at a first round win, but they were the only team with a chance for a win. As somebody else mentioned, the “pros” had CH favored by 12 points. It was an upset in that we beat a team that everybody picked to beat us. Who cares about a #1 vs #4. Who cares that we’re supposed to be playing down a division? We won, so move on. I’m not sure which was a bigger upset… us beating chapel hill or the feelings of those NETX fans… they still seem pretty upset to me. Quote
TheMissingBand Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I’m really hoping the weather holds out and #10 for BC is ready to go. It should be a good one. Quote

I saw a bunch of people commenting on Navasota's tough schedule so I took a look. It honestly didn't look too tough to me. Tougher than BCs? Yes. Tough enough to say they are way more battle tested? Not in my opinion. Bridge City's first 3 games are pretty laughable for sure but they are a solid team. Like I said earlier I think all 4 teams from this district would have beaten Chapel Hill. Quote
