The number is almost certainly falling somewhere between 525 and 535 I would think. Would not be shocked if it hit 530 on the nose and Tarkington stayed up and Orangefield down. I am no expert at all just cobbling information from several different guys who do this every year and mashing it together to form my opinion. I would say Tarkington/OF were 50/50 at snapshot day with reported numbers, I’d go Tarkington 60/40, OF 62/38 at this point. Either way I’d expect we know tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest. Quote

Yeah from seeing the snapshot numbers I figured Tarkington would be a bubble team for 4A. Would love to see them in 3A but we'll see. Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted 58 minutes ago Report Posted 58 minutes ago This also means there will be no divisional districts for other sports. Just will be football like it always has been. Other sports will determine their Divisions after district play. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 52 minutes ago Report Posted 52 minutes ago Bridge City is just 4 off from being DI. Got no problem with them opting up. Liberty on the other hand, has no reason to opt up with a 757 enrollment. CavemanFootballJunkie 1 Quote

gogo173489 Posted 30 minutes ago Report Posted 30 minutes ago I think it’s time for a different way to count the kids. The state knows exactly how many kids are in each school because they send “x” amount of dollars per kid, per day to the school districts. So, by knowing how much money is sent to the school districts you would know how many kids they have in attendance. KF89 1 Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted 26 minutes ago Report Posted 26 minutes ago Local 4A DII district will basically be the same except Hardin-Jefferson will replace Tarkington. Unless for some reason UIL moves Shepherd somewhere else. Quote
