Adjustment: Titans by 30.

And Titans by 20 next week.

Y'all can probably get Friendswood by 30 but IDK about 20 on Angleton, especially coming off playing Paetow which is an excellent prep game for PAM. I would say the offensive edge goes to PA, the defensive edge goes to Angleton and the athleticism is a push. Angleton is probably more athletic than Hightower but just can't get consistent qb play. I think you're looking at a 20-24 type game that could go either way depending on a turnover or penalty, I don't think it'll be a blowout.

PAM's #99 is slightly larger than 170 and will require a double team if F'Wood OC is smart about any blocking scheme.....

I guess coach Harris didn't listen to your double team strategy on #99.I watched and he was not double teamed and was taken care of by a 2nd stringer in the second quarter and beyond. One tackle behind the line of scrimmage and maybe a total of 3 tackles the whole night. He did go down hurt.I hope he recovers in time for next week.

Who calls the plays at PAM?  HC or OC?  I get it.  The buck stops with the HC, so there's that.  But, who actually does the game planning week-to-week and who calls the plays on Friday nights (or Saturdays)?  If you get rid of Morgan, who would replace him with and are you sure you could reel in the desired candidate?  SETX is not what it used to be.  I'm not sure any program in SETX could lure a top coach.  PAM, PN-G, Nederland, WB, United, Vidor, etc.  Not sure they are considered destination spots for top notch HS coaches.  They once were...many years ago...now, I'm not sure.  What sayeth you?  First, who calls the plays at PAM?

Kind of looked ahead to much.  Friendswood for the win!

    • That was an awesome video!  I feel so proud of these young men.  They proved the doubters wrong.  Bellville should be proud, too.  I know it didn't end like they had hoped, but we've been there, so we can definitely empathize with them.  Great season, Brahmas!
    • Meh.. Everyone knows this. The kid that got injured wasn't lifting weights. Supposedly he was hit with a helmet in his elbow. In my opinion the kid shouldn't have been put in that situation. AD should've told the Varsity baseball players to sit that one out. I have no issues with the lifting or conditioning. However, anytime helmets/pads are on there is a higher risk of injury. This AD showed a total lack of respect for HIS baseball program.
    • Maybe.. however..  Many athletic director / head football coach have lost their job despite the athletic program as a whole being successful.. if the football team struggles.  On the other hand, when football teams are doing great but the rest of the program stinks.. AD/HFC still keeps their job. WOS.  Newton. .. programs as a whole were fairly weak during those many years of football power and very few people even knew it.  Or cared. Yet, AD/HFC kept their jobs for years. Meanwhile, I remember an AD/HFC at Barbers Hill lost his job after every program in the school won district championships and even had several team sports (baseball, softball, girls hoops, etc.) making runs at state.  But the football team was mediocre.  Fired. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that perception is reality.  And the perception is that your athletic program can suck as long as football wins.. it doesn't matter how strong the athletic program is if football sucks.
