I am a graduate of PNG and played football and baseball for them. I am old school and believe in what Joe Paterno said when asked about why he never change the style of their uniforms. He said " we don't need to look all snazzy and glamorous to come out here and kick your arse ". Sorry I am old school and believe tradition does not change. That is what tradition is. Look at my name and figure it out.

Times change...if it gets the boys excited than who cares as long as they win games...there is nothing wrong with a little change every now and then they are still the PNG Indians...oh and btw Oregon got a little snazzy with their uniforms and they stay in the top 5 in the country...doesn't hurt to draw a little attention to yourself and get others attention if you know what I mean

Its is only a alternate uniform if I am correct. You see it across the NFL and college every season. Being that I also like tradition and the 1950's Championships were a huge part of our schools lore the hell yes use them in honor of that teams accomplishments. It will not change us as a team.

That was a mistype Im sure it was 1953 and 1955. My grandfather was at both games. Ive heard the stories many times about the flying frenchmen.
