So these 4 10-4A  teams will make the playoffs in a 4 team district

 

Houston Kashmere, Houston Worthing, La Marque and Houston Scarborough, which is on a 47-game losing streak, are postseason bound without even playing a down.

Is is to late for the UIL to do something about this? I know they just re-districted for the next two years but come-on. You have to have some form of plan if this happens. This can't be the first time this has ever happened.

Most likely, the UIL won't intervene.

 

In the past, when a district has lost a team, the UIL has just allowed that district to proceed with the reduced number of schools.

UIL? They're the ones who set up this watered down system for "little Johnny schools" to make the playoffs.  :rolleyes:

the only option I see if they are going to move a team in would be to move Tarkington or Shepherd.  Now its not going to improve the quality of the district but it would give 5 in the District.

  Man wouldn't it stink if one of those teams (Tarkington or Shepherd) came into 5th place? Knowing the top four will be going to the playoffs?
