In the toughest 5A district in Region-3? Yes you are correct, I do believe they were 3-1 before district started.

Who were they going to beat? Not NS, not LP, not PAM, not DP and not WB at that time, I kinda feel for them and Sterling, not their fault the other teams are just overall better programs in that district. And to go 4-0 non-district Hurts and company must have been doing something right at the time, only other team that did that in the district last season was NS. B)

2 of yalls district opponents: KP and Humble, the other two were Pasadena Memorial and Aldine.

 

Aldine was a given win, I dont think they even won a game last yr, the other 3 opponents were ok, KP was a playoff team, PM made the playoffs and got trounced by Memorial in which it was expected. B)
