I thought about going to that one.
Looking more like me going to Woodville for that double header. Hamshire-Fannett vs. Center at 6pm and then Crockett vs. Orangefield at 8pm.
If it weren't for the double headers, I would probably go to Montgomery and check out Big Sandy vs. Hearne. Two of my favorite coaches and just good guys will be squaring off in that one. Kevin Foster for Big Sandy and Travis Williams for Hearne. Haven't seen Travis since he left Kirbyville a few years ago.

Franklin softball makes a huge comeback down by 12 to take a win over 6a Bryan High 17-13

I know it's not local but 3a #8 Franklin will take on 6a Bryan High today. Jv starts at 5:30pm Varsity at 7:00pm.
This weekend they will travel to SouthLake Carroll

Well here it is 24 hours later, and I am still stunned over Leggett's loss.  Taking nothing away from the Chester kids because they played well enough to win.  Our kids did not come to play, and Chester took advantage of it and took care of business. First time we met we won 98-35.  Totally different Chester team at this point.  Kudos to Chester.
Hopefully we start a new season next week in bi-district
