No one believes you posted the question you did and expected a different answer than what you got. Fact of the matter is we don't and won't know exactly what happened on 1-6.......at least not for a long time.  We could have learned a lot if the Select Committee would of done an investigation instead of a made for TV drama.

I don't know of anyone from LH that walked out of the stadium last year believing the outcome would have been significantly different if Noah Long and Joe Pitchford weren't injured. PNG out played us, out coached us and the fans out spirited us.   Hell, even the band was better.
LH has already overachieved many fan's expectations this year.  Our offensive production is down this year and our pass defense is actually worse than last year.  What this team lacks in size, elusive speed and elite talent, we make up for in heart and relentless tenacity (at times).  Many LH fans want to move away from the Slot-T but I believe this scheme is the primary reason why we consistently make deep runs into the playoffs.
Keep an eye on the 165lb Noseguard (#44) because he is fun to watch.  That kid has a motor like no other and MAY get home a couple times if the O-line gets caught sleepin'.
Good luck PNG fans!  I hope the game is competitive, injury free and everyone leaves it all out there on the field.  Regardless of the outcome, I'll be in Arlington next week watching a full day of football with my son who will hopefully be playing in this game next year!

Good Luck to y'all also and Thanks for a classy post !  I've no illusions on how this game could and may turn out , but LH teams have surprised me in this past and I'll root for them to do just that this game and like I've said before however this game turns out I'll root for the team tht makes it to Dallas .

I want to share a story from last year.
After the game, my folks and I went to the Whiskey Cake in Katy for a very late dinner. I had driven in from Leander that afternoon and they had left PN-G late due to work. Nobody’d had the time to eat beforehand.
There was a family in the restaurant from Liberty Hill sitting a few tables down from us. They had a little girl with them, maybe seven or eight years old, and an older boy who appeared to be late middle school or early high school age. I figured he was a player on the freshman team.
That little girl realized we were from PN-G and gave us the evil eye for the entire dinner. I’m talking a full hour of this girl glaring at us from across the dining area, non-stop. You could feel the heat coming off this girl’s gaze. I had to fight not to crack up all night because every time I’d look over to my left, I had the possessed girl’s hellish stare from the exorcism movie looking straight back at me. You could tell the PN-G crowd, the War Chant and Cherokee had driven this poor girl insane that night.
Her parents picked up on what was going on and came over to talk to us after they finished their meal. Couldn’t have been nicer folks. Wished us luck in the championship, complimented the fan base - just nice, small town people. I told them I lived just down the road in Leander and drove in for the game. Even for a fan base like Liberty Hill’s that generally travels well, you could tell they were shocked that out-of-town alumni would make a drive like that to see the Indians play.
This is the game where our fan base earned the “rabid” label online last year. Every time I think about that, I think about that ferocious glare from that little girl. I have a feeling I’m gonna feel it coming across the field at me again this year. Scalp ‘em!

No matter the race, people should be responsible for their actions.....Would I have died if treated that way? NO.....would any healthy person....NO
The root cause of this incident was not following lawful orders. PERIOD. This was a political conviction.....

I know without question you say this is in gest but for those who are unaware, there is no such thing.  I hate the word "literally" because it is misused so frequently but the use of fentanyl and playing Russian Roulette are very close to the same thing,

Trace amounts? As a "nurse" please explain how 7 ng/ml or greater is associated with fatalities and Georgie had 11 ng/ml and that is "trace amounts"?  Take that level and add it to the other drugs in his system,........
The estimated lethal dose of fentanyl in humans is 2 mg. Blood concentrations of approximately 7 ng/ml or greater have been associated with fatalities where poly-substance use was involved.

Manslaughter, as in the suspect accidentally killed another person?
It could be but it seems (with virtually no public information) that this is likely more than an accident. Of course he could have been deer hunting or target practicing and accidentally killed a person.
Then it could be that the police think it might be Murder but didn’t have enough probable cause at the time of the arrest.

That is sometimes surprisingly close to the truth.
Many years ago I was training a rookie officer. We were doing an investigation and speaking with an older woman that spoke very little English. My rookie was hitting her with closed end questions that could be answered with a yes or no answer.
I was trying to help him but he kept on with his investigation. I finally had enough and had to put a stop to his questioning of the woman. I pulled him to the side and said this woman has no clue what you were saying and you are writing down bogus information. The rookie’s response was, but she’s answering me. Yeah… because she doesn’t know much English, is speaking with a person in authority and thinks it makes us happy to agree with us by smiling and saying yes a lot.
So….. I said watch this, and I started speaking with a woman.
I asked her something like, did you kill your mother last night? Yes! (Smiling and nodding)
Did you bury her body in the backyard? Oh yes! (Smiling)
Just to make sure, you did murder your mother last night and buried her behind the house? Yes… yes!
Okay, let’s go find someone in the neighborhood who can translate for our investigation.

This backs up my Fathers statement that I heard MANY MANY times when he taught me about guns - "Don't ever point a gun at someone unless you plan on shooting them" - That dude may have not intended on shooting him, could of been just to intimidate him......the Son had no way of knowing......

I have read that now but watching some of it relatively live it isn’t what was said.
I have seen police chiefs, including my own, make improper, incorrect, misleading and on one case an outright false statement about the law. They aren’t always the smartest guy in the room.
Even better is when you witness an attorney giving illegal information to a client in front of you and you feel compelled to tell the client that the attorney is wrong. 😎

Yes, they almost always go straight to the ground. Leaving a prisoner standing up and being able to kick and head butt isn’t the preferred way to stop the aggression.

Less than one minute into the film, the author said that he was offended by a gummy bear stereotype so decided…. “That’s why I’m making this film”.
He literally lets you know all that you need to know in the first minute. Essentially he is saying, I am going to search out evidence that meets my objective.
He’s entitled but the video is hardly authority on anything other than one man’s opinion

Depends on what you define as terrorism.
I don't think either is a threat to America.
Just like "threat to democracy" is just a democratic talking point.
