  While everything is speculation at this point, let's just look at the facts we do know.   We have a teen who just robbed and assaulted a store  manager.   Michael has a previous FELONY criminal record.   All I can find is that he wore sandals in the store and had sneakers when he was shot.   I can not find any articles making a big deal out of that. I would think if it had anything to do with police misconduct, that "key witness", who claims to have never left his side would have mentioned it during his interview.....or at least told his attorney....   Thoughts?

  What is have to do with theft at store?   What does it have to do with confrontation where the kid was shot?  

Are you saying it was not him in the video or because there is confusion on shoe description he could not assault an officer?

  But he DID risk going to jail over $49 worth of cigarettes....and he risked going to jail by assaulting the store owner.....   Why did you leave out the assault part? You did see the video right?

    This is the kind of crap that hurts the problem.......   Funkflex is an idiot.;.....he took a sentence out of an interview and made it seem fact   I hope he gets his azz kicked

  It does not matter.....He could of pulled him over any reason, legal or not. If Brown went for his gun, the cop had a right to use deadly force to keep him from getting it.   All the video proves is he stole cigars and he is capable of being aggressive....

Everyone is screaming for the truth...... Video is pretty truthful

On a positive note, I heard some folks were blocking the stores so looting could not happen.....

  Maybe so......but I have some serious questions...   Attorney: Dorian Johnson confirms he was with Brown at store robbery. This was I believe the "key" eye witness that said Brown's arms were in the air and he was not the aggressor, etc.......   Do you still take him as a credible witness?   Because I sure don't.....

  or help it....   I don't think it really matters......I don't think he has a chance at President anyway.....

  Not sure.....   But after reading reports, it appears he was shot in/at the vehicle and died 35' from the vehicle.......it never states he was shot 35 feet from the vehicle.

  So an officer can't "simply" confront someone walking in the middle of the street?    Here goes the spin......had he not confronted him for that "traffic" law he was bending he would still be alive......

  I think it's the perfect picture of a "college bound" kid with a bright future....   And that is the problem.....The media and certain people are trying to make this kid in to a saint, when in fact, he was probably a normal stupid teenager.  As TVC stated, the picture means nothing and has nothing to do with what happened......but when the media paints that perfect picture, photo's like this don't help the image.....

    So you have to have a previous criminal record before you can rob a convenience store?   And kids who are about to go to college do not commit crimes......   Good to know.....

When we hear about parents having "The Talk" with their children, it usually refers to the "birds and the bees" conversation. Not so in the African-American community, where "The Talk" is instructions on what to do if an African-American teenaged boy is stopped by police officers. Grimes told us about her talk with her sons, "I said if you're even stopped by the police, you just roll down your window, ask what is it that you need to do, don't try to get out of the car, don't try to have the last word."     That is the SAME thing my parents taught me........and I'm white.   [Hidden Content]
