  1. No has nothing to do with being lazy or not knowing there was a track forum. In fact it was the opposite, knowing there would be zero discussion if posted in the track forum. Track is not a topic that has a lot of interest and the season is coming to a close. 7 other posts since the first of the year with what 4-5 responses. This one got more than that in an hour before it was moved.  Lets be honest, most sprint track boys athletes are football players being made to run to improve their speed and there is carryover to the football field which was the entire point of the post.

  2. Interesting BH finished second in both mens and womens. Maybe more speed than given credit for?

I figured that is where she was headed from what I saw on social media, but never saw her actually commit. Congratulations to her and all the young ladies that will continue their playing careers at the collegiate level. It was a lot of fun watching my kid play at the collegiate level.

    Is your kid done playing?

Did any local girls sign any NLI to go play anywhere in college this year? I like following the local girls careers to see their success at the next level. I figured Dalanna Carter would have signed a big D1 scholarship, but I haven’t seen anything. Thanks

Saw yesterday that Dalanna was a Coastal Carolina commit. No idea how or why that came about, I know UH had offered her as a freshman so its puzzling.

They’ve been better than I thought they were.  I was going off of last season, and the start of this season, where they had a good record, but played a lot of teams in lower classifications to inflate their record.  They’ve played a better schedule this year, while also performing better.  So it wasn’t a typo, but I do admit that I misjudged them.  I still think HJ is the best team in the area, but I’d put WB at #2, where as a couple of months ago I would’ve placed them 4 or 5 probably.

Looks like BH came on strong and needs to be in the discussion. I think Carter finally just took over.

  6. Congrats to PNG! I was hoping they would be prepared and execute.

Like I said two months ago, FBM is not a well coached team and does a lot of dumb stuff if you can show you can hang with them. Thats exactly what they did last year against BH, you could see the quit on about half the team as they slowly walked in for halftime and back out for the start out the second half.

I'm waiting for our buddy @Cougar14.2 to tell us why the great demographics advantage that FBM had didn't play out in in this one?
