If this isnt the best tournament in the country show me one that is

This is the hidden content, please

The next big national tournament takes place starting Thursday in Texas near Austin and it is BIG, with 68 teams starting over 17 pools. The 2022 champions, Cornerstone Christian, are not make to defend, but 2021 champion Mater Dei of California and 2022 national champion Cathedral Catholic of San Diego will make the trek to take on many of the best teams from the Lone Star State. TAPPS 6A reigning champion Prestonwood Christian Academy is the tournament’s top seed and many in the most recent TGCA 6A rankings, including No. 1 Grand Oaks, No. 2 Lake Travis and No. 3 Dripping Springs, will also be in the field.

Prestonwood has been described as perhaps the best team ever from the Dallas area. Grand Oaks’ roster includes MB Jaela Auguste and OHs Halle Thompson and Samara Coleman.  Lake Travis (18-2) is coming off of a title last weekend at the New Braunfels Fraulein Volleyfest. Dripping Springs boasts the nation’s top sophomore OH, Henley Anderson.

You talk/type just like Jim Adler. On here, anybody can say that they are a fan of a certain school and there’s not much evidence to disprove that.  All a poster has to do is consistently “support” a school and say they’re a fan.  That’s the online world for you. I’m sure there are multiple people here that have multiple accounts. For what purpose, I don’t know.

By the way, Hardin does just fine without a MaxPreps account. The college worthy players that have come through the program have all found a spot somewhere.  Not just in volleyball too. Hardin softball players have found college homes as well.

    You sound like Tamu10 lol.

I post nothing like Jim Adler and could careless about Hardin or Liberty outside giggles on here,  you are reaching. Until they started naming each other I had no idea Jim Adler was a Liberty parent and the other guy was a Hardin coach lol. It is entertaining though!

Weak excuse about not having a maxpreps account, what does it hurt? What do you want to hide? No internet out there? Pretty lazy. The only reason I know who any of the hardin girls are is from the club world which is why the girls found a home btw, it certainly wasnt playing 3A high school volleyball.

That is from the other teams who have a MaxPreps account.  When they record a win/loss, it is reflected in the other team's profile as well. Most years, the MaxPreps is very inconsistent in records.  Hardin does not have a MaxPreps account that is officially kept up by Hardin staff.   They are currently 4-5 at the moment, but improving every day.   If someone were to go back over the past years, one would see that the majority of the losses for Hardin seasons occurred in the early part of the season.

The question of the day: Are Kenny Powers and Jim Adler the same person?

LOL I'm a BH fan my man but I have to admit the small town Hardin drama is fun to watch. Popping some popcorn now!

I understand its from other teams posting maxpreps scores, get with the times and register an account and update. Maxpreps is 100% accurate when the coach updates it themselves.  Its free and it gives the girls exposure. Maxpreps puts together national stat leaders with coaches using maxpreps, I guess the question is why isnt Hardin?  If I was a parent I'd be pissed.

And just like BH, Hardin has always been a historically weak district so of course "most" of their losses are going to be early in the season. It's a good measuring stick on how far a team might make a run in the playoffs. How many of Hardins district foes have any girls that play club? Any? I have no clue but my guess is one or zero.

I’ve never started a thread solely about BH, ever. I have posted in BH threads exactly 0 times this year, the same amount as Baytown Lee. I have posted a couple times in Dayton threads though. Feel free to go verify before the board gets too crowded. However, multiple BH fans have posted multiple times in Crosby threads in the last few days alone.

That’s only because the world was ending in Crosby all summer. Funny last year after losing to BH you actually disappeared for months lol

Ok you may be right… but yes good player. Didn’t do too much vs us today but it’s a scrimmage so it is what it is… I’m looking forward to watching Bellville in the Katy/Cy Fair ISD tournament this week.

Is there a schedule for this tournament out?

Her son got drafted to the MLB id probably retire too 😂

Ha right I can see wanting to follow around to play. That is cool and a big congrats,  but his slot value is far from retirement values.  My gut is the talent just graduated and the writing is on the wall though.  The girl that graduated last year that is going juco is probably the best player tI come through there right?

I saw somebody wearing a hardin volleyball shirt that said something along the lines of 21 out of the last 23 district championships

regina has had a great run there in hardin

Do you think that is a product of great coaching in X's and O's or more that she has the Johnny and Joe's that most small schools don't have?

Who is in their district? Even a down year they will still be top 4 I’d imagine.. 3A volleyball in the 409 area is below average IMO.. with the exception of Hardin usually

409 volleyball in general in 3a,4a,5a etc is all below average because they don't have any top tier clubs to develop at. Hardin had a few girls playing club in Baytown but that group has graduated.
