Mix Tony's seasoning in with a  1/2 cup of water and some Worcestershire sauce. Mix good and inject that into a brisket. Cut up Garlic cloves and using a steak knife, stab into brisket, so the garlic is "in" the brisket. The more the better.......

Then I use rub Worcestershire all over brisket and season outside withy Texjoy.

Then place it on HOT grill....You want to sear both sides.......so, depending on heat, leave 5-15 minutes a side........Then place that in smoker on grill and smoke around 250-275 for about 1 hour.......Then I place in pan uncovered and smoke for another 2 hours........then cover pan with tin foil and finish in oven at about 300 for another couple hours.........

I sometimes add onions on top when I cover and place in oven......

It's very tender and taste great

A favorite seasoning of mine is Montreal steak seasoning. You will be impressed. I often pre-coat a steak with a little olive oil before seasoning. If I have time to prepare and want to get fancy I'll top it off with a blue cheese and butter compound mixture kicks it up a notch. I'm getting hungry.

The mere fact that he was elected president is a step forward in race relations but that credit should go towards the American voters.

I have no clue about the BBQ but I liked the looks of almost anything at Florida's. The problem is that their portions are too big. Don't get the large whatever...........

I ordered the catfish dinner. They had large and small and I figured the small was a fillet or at the most, two. Then the large would have three full size fillets. Hmmmm......

The large was five that covered the platter. I asked a friend that lived there and he said all of their meals were like that. The people that I was with had likewise large portions of their various entree's. It is rare that I can sit at a restaurant meal and not finish but Florida's did me in.

To be fair, there wasn't a great pool of choices running to fill the OCJ vacancy.

Furthermore, as others have pointed out, many of the local democratic politicians of the past  didn't cling to the typical democratic  liberal values.

You can hardly dispute the truth that for many decades the Golden Triangle area has been run by unions, mostly from chemical plants and therefore voted straight party tickets on the side of the Democrats. For that reason, the only way to get elected in his area was to run on the Democratic ticket. I have known many elected officials and several that are in office now. After talking with some of them it is my belief after hearing their political opinions that they are not very supportive of the Democrats but joined the majority party in the counties in order to be a viable candidate. Now that some demographics have changed, there is way less influence and loss of union jobs and because of politics in general have changed in some areas, some may have switched parties out of political expediency which seems to be okay because that is why they originally chose the opposition party in the first place.... in my opinion.

    GMC Yukon Denali

2015 Corvette Z06 - two seat are plenty if you also have a Denali

I can't afford any of these but no one specified "practical"

If the state takes over today, there still will be layoffs tomorrow. Stop wasting money and get on with it. Personally, I want every person on the board replaced because they allowed this to happen. None of them were doing their job. Everybody warned that no one would be happy if the state took over.

I just wonder where all this "community action" was in 1995 when the state was going to take over BISD because the students couldn't read. Everybody (me too) complained about Dr. Thomas' salary but I know he got his contract because the others turned down the job and they begged him to take it. He initially withdrew from consideration.

Will this make you happy...I'm not a Democrat I don't believe obama has had a successful presidency I think it's been awful. But still you believe I must be a liberal why because I refuse to spend my days posting anti Obama links...they're are other issues. Crying like a baby won't change that. Find a winnable candidate if you want change.

I really don't understand how the school board has any support at this point.  Other than the one or two who have been openly fighting the majority for the last few years, it seems to me that they were either complicit in how we've gotten to this point, or, almost as bad, willfully ignorant.  Either way, wholesale changes should have been demanded by their voters long ago.  I only hope that when the elections are instituted again, serious lessons have been learned.  This has been an embarrassing black eye for the city and an injustice for our kids.

I just said the same thing in another thread, there are exception for sure, even good people rising above the fact they come from terrible families.

I have a friend that is one of the best people and an exceptional father, in spite of the fact both parents were drug abusers and alcoholics, his 2 brothers on the other hand didn't fall far from the tree.

At one time I would have agreed with that entire statement.

I'm not sure how old you are, but in the late 80's a friend of mines brother (around 17) shot and killed a kid(I think he was 6ish) and his Grandfather in cold blood. He was robbing Lamar University of Port Arthur. He came from a great family and a very strict family. I'm not sure what caused him to do it, but I never saw that coming. He is now spending the rest of his life in prison.

So, after that, while the way you raise your child is important, it does not always mean they won't turn out bad.
