What a way to kick off the season with a Diboll and Corrigan scrimmage. Several on both teams are either related or friends so I’m not surprised there was a little a emotional altercation at the end. Personally my dad is from Corrigan and my mom is from Diboll so I love both.

Diboll won the tournament going undefeated beating Lovelady in the Championship game.

Nice win for the Trojans! Now go and bring the Championship to East Texas! Great season Jacks!!!

I was hoping Fairfield would join 11 3A after I found out Franklin dropped to D2. Tarkington makes more sense though from a travel perspective. Elkhart will possibly stay in 11 3A as well.

Yeah Crockett will have to replace some keys positions as well. Next year might be a good year for a team like Elkhart to mix things up.

Yeah I’m actually hoping Fairfield joins our District. They typically run a balanced offense similar to Yoe and that’s something we need to face more often. I just hope the District doesn’t setup for us to face Fairfield and Crockett in back to back weeks.

Sub Varsity won the District Championship but there were several Juniors on the team because of the Varsity being Senior heavy. If those Juniors transition well into Varsity play then Diboll should compete in District next year.

Yeah I saw that Franklin might drop. You guys should have a good team next year. I would like to play y’all too but I don’t think that will happen because of the distance that you mentioned. I would like to see Diboll toughen up their pre-district schedule with a good mix of running and passing teams.

Diboll will lose a lot of Seniors so it will be rebuild time in Diboll.

Yeah Diboll rolled them two years in a row. CB is just a troll trying to stir the pot usually with a bunch of fake news or false comments.

Sorry I just seen this post...I’ve been working out of town for a bit. Not sure what you mean by “Where you at”. If your referring to me responding to Diboll’s loss well I was too busy celebrating a 10-0 District Championship, a Bi-District Championship, a #5 state ranking, a #1 SETX ranking, and the blessing of getting the opportunity to play a really good team in the Area round of the playoffs. Obviously we came up short which is disappointing but we had opportunities to win that game and just didn’t execute. Sorry we couldn’t advance further to represent East and SETX. If that was not what you meant then please disregard the above response and my simple answer is...I’m at work, but thanks for asking.

Seems like Yoe has more going both ways this year than usual. For instance RB #25 is also starting LB and WRs #4 and #1 or both DBs. Diboll has pretty good depth and only have a couple going both ways.

Do mean you physically talked to Diboll fans that have said that are you read it somewhere because I can’t find where anyone with any credibility to the team or town has made that statement. Please tell me your not talking about something you read on the FSW/DCTF App where the fair weather fans go to bump gumms and talk zero Xs and Os.....I might have to hit the poop button on you. Pride you’ve been around long enough not to fall for that nonsense. Diboll has never even sniffed the Quarterfinals must less a Ship! Diboll has a great team this year and that’s it. Having a great team doesn’t mean you will win anything but they do have the opportunity to do something special for the town of Diboll. Good luck to the Lions this week I’m pulling for y’all!!
