Holy smokes that LRA QB is one of the best QBs I’ve seen this year. Their receivers ran great routes too. Diboll just kept everything in front of them and limited the big plays through the air. Diboll was able to get two crucial stops and a forced fumble which was the difference in the game. Other than a couple of drive killing penalties, the Diboll offense played lights out. 4th round for the first time ever!!

Diboll has a shot to control the line of scrimmage on both sides because I think we are a little bigger in the trenches. The key for Diboll will be to limit that QB for LRA who is very impressive. LRA has given up some points on defense lately so Diboll should be able to have some success on offense.

Absolutely!! Diboll hasn’t made it to the 3rd round since 1982. I’m so happy for Coach Morrison and the team. Diboll has waited a long time to get over the Area Round hump….super proud of the kids and coaches!!

I don’t think anyone in 9-3A claims to be in a tough district. It is what it is and they can’t control who is paired with them. I expected Crockett to be better this year but I know they will be back to the Crockett we expect soon. Good research though.

I agree…this game is a toss up to me. I was impressed with the Coldspring defense against Crockett. They were relentless on pressuring the QB and minimizing his running ability. I wouldn’t mind seeing a low scoring defensive battle…14-7 type game.
