Lost the broadcast but got 21-6 Final

Great time for a bye week in my opinion. The QB has only played 3 games so the off week should give them time to work on routes and chemistry to open up the pass game.

Extremely happy for CC to get that W!!! Now that young team will get a chance to grow in district in route to the district finally against Centerville.

I feel the same. I’ve not bought into the Westwood hype (will find out next Friday), but I’m looking forward to the Coldspring vs Woodville matchup. Right now I give the edge to Woodville but wouldn’t be surprised if Coldspring pulled it out. I will say that Diboll defends the slot T pretty well (Franklin had 162 total yards against Diboll) so I like Diboll’s chances against Coldspring if they get past everyone else before them. Just my opinion on the unpredictable world of high school football. Gotta love it!

Not surprised at all. Kville was scrappy when I watched them in Diboll. IMO they had their best success when the QB had a run/pass option (he’s a solid runner).

My opinion is that he will have some success on designed QB runs (if they complete a few short routes) although Diboll is very stout defending the run. I think he will struggle in the pocket unless Westwood has a stellar pass block on the Oline. To me his success in this game will depend on his run pass decision making when he rolls out to the left of right. Diboll has a decent pass rush and has speed in the secondary, so rolling out to one side makes things interesting. This shortens the field which creates the opportunity for big offensive or defensive plays since both offense and defense is flowing in the same direction. Personally I think Diboll will do fine because I do not believe their QB has seen too many quality defenses based off their pre-district schedule.

Unfortunately Diboll had a lot of penalties too. Got to clean that up.

They threw for a 1st down right before the pick 6. Franklin is playing solid D though.

Yes this will be a rematch from last year. Also they split wins in district play so it should be a competitive series.

Diboll wasn’t expecting a cake walk at all. Buna is a good football team with an average loss margin of 8 points (one possession). Their RB and #7 were impressive. Buna fought hard and gave themselves a chance to win the game despite being out gained 404 to 287 in total yards.

Would love to see Westwood have some success in the playoffs but I’ve got Anahuac in this one. The Westwood QB running the ball will give Anahuac trouble though.

Diboll vs Buna Thursday Nov. 10 at 7:00 pm Woodville HS Buna will be home team.

Good show like always but I’m pretty sure you guys got the Orangefield vs Anahuac score mixed up. Orangefield won that game.

Congrats Trojans on the W! Not sure if next week will clinch a playoff spot for you but good luck against Shepherd.

Coldspring always plays Diboll tough regardless of records or rankings. It’s a good friendly rivalry.
