I agree with you but ranked and mature teams need to overcome those bad calls and keep executing the game plan.

Diboll just needs to kill the turnover bug and they can pull away.

Not embarrassing at all.....short notice game with two good Teams. Jasper will bounce back and be just fine in District play.

Morrison has been an absolute blessing in Diboll.

Man work has taken me to Illinois for a couple of years so I hate not going to watch Texas high school football. You better believe I’m listening in and following SETX.com each week though.

#20 McMillian is the featured back for Diboll but the Gums brothers will tote the rock in relief. All three are huge kids.

That was a great game! I think it was #21 for Jasper that broke one late that setup that field goal. I was so excited to hear tonight’s game was happening because Diboll and Jasper always matchup well because of the coaching connections.

I heard there was no broadcast because they couldn’t work it out (whatever that means). Very disappointing as I will be out of state for the majority of the season.

I sure wish I could be there...would be about a 16 hour drive for me. Enjoy the game!

Does BC have a broadcast stream? Diboll has not worked one out for the season yet.

Nice honorable mention for D1 District 11. I think this District will be a heavy weight fight between Franklin, Diboll, and Crockett with Coldspring looking to re-establish themselves and giving those top 3 teams a tough test.

Yep Buna played well in this one and had Diboll on the ropes a few times. The former Diboll OC is now on the Buna coaching staff which brought a little extra emotion to the game. This was a really good 1st round game.

Franklin is a very solid team and it will take a good balanced game plan to beat them in the playoffs. Congrats to them on the win tonight.

I agree with you here. McMillan is a beast but he will need some help in this game. Diboll has shown that they can throw it to keep the defense honest so I expect them to mix it up this week.

Herbert could definitely take over a game on offense and defense. I really hate it for the young man that he missed this season. Herbert in the backfield with his brother and McMillan is almost unstoppable. Hopefully we get to see it next season as all of them return.

No joke on the rain. Diboll has a grass field and to be honest..we have not been very good on wet grass ( Liberty and Coldspring ).

Man I am kicking myself right now. I almost went and covered this game just in case they pulled it off. I would have loved to have captured the reactions on film. That moment can never be recreated. Congrats Huntington!!!

Wow...144-0 between the District’s top two teams. Man it sure would be nice to see a low scoring defensive game next week...but I don’t think that will happen.
