Played a close 6-4 game earlier in the season. I would venture to say Diboll has more pitching depth with 4 good ones & that Silsbe swings it better..I hope it's a 3 game series to be fair to the kids If a one Gamer I'll take Silsbee 4-2 3 game I'll take Diboll in 3.
True that game was close but you have to remember that it was raining that night and I don't think they saw Powell either.. The Tigers are on fire, I'll take silsbee in 1 or 3 games
Some key players for Diboll were still playing soccer as well. Either way Powell will be hard to beat. As a Diboll fan, I am hoping for a 3 game series. Both teams made history for their schools and should be very proud.
 2. Just goes to show you how good Southeast and East Texas baseball is. 20-3A has all 3 teams still playing aswell. Impressive!!!
 3. Game 1 Diboll 6 Palestine 3 Game 2 Diboll 9 Palestine 1 Diboll advances.
 4. Center 3 Hudson 1 Final Diboll 11 Carthage 9 Final Huntington 4 Central 1 Final District Standings Hudson 10-2 (District Champions) Carthage 9-3 (#2 Seed in the District) Diboll 8-4 (#3 Seed in the District) Center 6-6 Central 4-8 Huntington 3-9 Jasper 2-10
 5. Diboll 17 Huntington 1 Carthage 4 Hudson 0 Hudson, Carthage, Diboll Clinch play-off spots.
 6. Diboll 27 Huntington 0 Final Well Diboll managed to beat their two rivals Corrigan and Huntington, but thats it. We have a lot of work to do in the off season to get our program back to were it should be. Congrats and good luck in the playoffs for Carthage, Jasper, and Center. Just heard that the 4 team playoff format was passed for next season, so I really hope my team does not make the playoffs with a 1-9 record. District 20-3a only has 5 teams.
 7. I don't see Diboll upsetting one of the top 3 teams, so Carthage,Center, and Jasper should advance. Carthage will be tough like always, but both Jasper and Center have the athletes to challenge them this season and definetly the next.
Yeah, Shepherd was a whopping 36 point underdog. Diboll played horrible tonight, and Shepherd played with tons of energy. Great W for the Pirates!! They definetely earned it. As of now J Dog, Diboll will not be a threat at all in 20-3a. Offense is just too weak.
I bet they find the offense by the time they play Jasper!  ;) ;D  They always seem to.
Yeah I would love to see another Lumberjack (come from behind) overtime victory like in 2010, but if Diboll has 5 turnovers, drops several wideopen passes, and plays with no enthusiasum like they did tonight, Jasper will whoop them 75-0!! I do believe Diboll will improve as the season grows, but I just do not know how ready they will be in week 7.

I see Diboll running up the score on Shepherd tonight.. & that's bad.
Ouch. I don't really see it as a upset. Maybe a small one? Shepherd always plays diboll close even when diboll has been a much better team. and this years team just keeps getting better week in and week out. They may give coldspring a scare, who knows?? Proud of those Pirates.
Your right, Shepherd does always seem to give Diboll fits. Not to take anything away from your victory tonight, but I do not think Shepherd or Diboll is on the same level as Coldspring right now. Of course anything could happen in high school football, but I believe the Pirates have a long ways to go before they are ready to take down the Trojans. Good luck the rest of the season!!

 12. I know it is early, but it seems Jasper might give Carthage some competition as we welcome them back into the district. Barbay is making some noise!!
 13. Same score in the 4th. Diboll failed to take advantage of red zone opportunities.
