Yeah, actually it’s not that big of a deal because you are in superintendent and most of the departments or assistant superintendent are already there with the job description. To me would be much more of a problem if I high school principal left or Head Football Coach left at this time.

I remember some of those Katie La Porte games, I was at the game I believe in the playoffs when it was done at Memorial Stadium off of I 10. Can’t remember the name of it. It’s where former teammate Craig James played for Stratford all of his games. Anyway, those were some great games And I remember watching a great coach team get beat by an even better coach with a little less talent La Porte team. Great memories. 
i’ve been in Texas the last two weeks I didn’t get to attend any high school football games, but went to University of Texas and Colorado State game and just watch some games but if All still in Texas, I would love to go see the Hill versus La Porte. Hill has one of my former players, Chance Nelson , coach of wide receivers, and I’m familiar with La Porte‘s offense. In my opinion, Coach needs to open it up a little bit to make La Porte really dangerous. He didn’t do that at Dobie with a lot of talent. He was too predictable a teams good defense coordinator could defend them very easily! He leaves a lot of points on the field with his lack of innovation. 

Hey guys, it’s been a few weeks since I’ve checked Southeast Texas football. I’ve been working my ass off here at this natural gas plant south of New Orleans, seriously haven’t had a real day off in six weeks. Working 13 – ones and on the ones I’ve had to drive back to my hometown Marlin pick up crap and then drive back. That’s a round-trip about 18 hours. so I’m just trying to catch up on my breathing in my sleep. But man Football‘s around the corner. Up here the LSU talk is hot and heavy and on the local Espn station they have some High School talk from here Louisiana but yes, I did get my Texas Football. And I go to breakfast after work from 330 to about 730 to a lot of the local eateries here in Chase Bell, St Bernard, Port Sulphur and I always have my Texas Football magazine. And all these football guys  Are very impressed about size, come on guys we like that size even though usually we lie 🤔😆  . Anyway, can’t get any more ready for football. Over 40% of the people getting on my bus or from htown and former football players and we talk football on the bus trip along with the little Astros. Got some Louisiana guys too big on LSU and actually got a lot of Tulane people here. The parents of the Holy Cross high school receiver that’s gonna go to H with the former Tulane coach. Look out you, UH maybe pretty awesome in a couple years. I’m going to start a blog in a few weeks on the app called Substack called.” Fire the Coach”. Please read along and tell me what you think.

Why I can’t lie to y’all, this is Coach Bear and I started this topic. South of New Orleans working here after 40 years of coaching piss cause I hadn’t got my Texas Football yet. But I saw Dave Tepper delivered to y’all. Great job. I got that beat this morning, after doing my morning bus run at the construction job here in Port Sulphur Louisiana. I drove up to my travel trailer. There is a limo, and guess who gets out Roger Staubach and Earl Campbell and Dhat Nguyen, followed by my teammatesin the 1979 THSCA all-Star game in Fort Worth, Erik Dickerson and Craig James, then it’s kind of like clowns coming out of a car, 2211 for offense and 11 for Defense Victoria’s Secret models came out and finally they presented me my Texas Football magazine. Then the heavens opened up and the Angels sing hallelujah     I was going to attach a picture that I took sitting on my toilet reading Texas Football but it said the file was too big, I understand that because I am Ukrainian and you know the saying once you go Ukrainian the love connection makes you insane again. Just saying. —

Yes, I put the Louisiana address on there for delivery.  I am renting a camping trailer for the next three years so all my mail goes to the main office. I’ll check again tomorrow. But Covid is kind of screwed up sometimes with the mail. I hated seeing the Aggies lose last night. You know I’m a longhorn graduate, but I support LSU, aggies and horns! Just like I support the Cowboys, the Saints and the Texans. You don’t know how much I hated Bill O’Brien and How he  destroyed the Texans. The only reason he had any like success as often to Coordinator Alabama is because he had that hell of a quarterback. Oh well, enough with. Let’s just spread the love of Football, 7 7  championships coming up.
Take care of Texas miss you a little bit but here in New Orleans the food is great. The money I’m making is fantastic and the women love to dance are beautiful. I’m 63 going on 23.

Football is pretty ramping around here too just like it was in  my 40 years of coaching in Southeast Texas but I am waiting on my Texas Football magazine. Does anyone know when the early subscribers will get them in the mail? I’ll plan on watching some Louisiana football this fall as I work seven days a week, and then I’ll watch it on national Federation of high school all the Southeast Texas football. I always cheer for everything, Texas, Louisiana because I’m the crazy guy. I’m a UT graduate my son graduate from A&M and I had four players play at LSU in the 90s. I like the Texans and the Saints and I am a Cowboys fan since the mid 60’s even though it ain’t looking good with Jerry doing Jerry.
Can you smell it, early morning, humidity, wet grass, it’s almost time ! Arnway Nepomora!

Sorry the former helluva player of mine at Crosby is Cougar 14:2! Smack talker, great athlete, smart, son is a rb at Crosby senior i believe unless he used nil transfer. Helluva powerlifter,,qualified for state i believe at the most competitive weight- outside linebacker weight 175! Jalen Hurts was also a helluva powerlifter. Did great at regionals but just missed state

Oh yeah, hell yeah as a 40 year coach in East Terrace county and a graduate of great football at Marlin High School. I know in Belleville y’all got great football. Good luck on your season. I’m gonna enjoy it from here in New Orleans as I work and understand I’m 63 going on 23 and a little bit of a smart ass, my coach y’all favorite I think his name is Cougar 23. That boy can talk to smack but he was a hell of a player that Offensive Coordinator screwed over. Seriously he was jealous of him because of the girl he was dating and he wouldn’t give him the football. I could change stories how men have let their feminine emotions get to them in football and screw things up. Anyway, I smell that wet grass in the morning and feel the sweat of forehead can’t wait football star I’m a crazy guy go go Aggies go LSU, go Texas go Cowboys go Saints. Wow, I miss the site. Love all the talking that goes on, some of it true some of it made up. Just like being at the barbershop Haven’t been on it much in the last year. I was a Northern Nevada driving miners into the gold mines. And I have moved from Southeast Texas, leaving the Houston area after 38 years of teaching and coaching and stuff back to Central Texas. Lots of great schools here to like Franklin and Mart, But will keep up with Southeast Texas and drive to a couple of games. Really looking forward to the Crosby Barbers Hill game. Crosby because a lot of my players from my defensive coordinator days have sons that are on this year’s team. And Barbers Hill Because, one of my former players, Chance Nelson from Baytown Sterling, is coaching receivers at Barbers Hill now. This will be fun to watch.

Go Texans, Go Jets, Go Longhorns AND Aggies ( and Nebraska, I am a big fan of Rhule and he is heavily recruiting Texas, just signed an offensive lineman from Klein Cain top recruit whose dad I coached at defensive end and played for UTEP if memory serves me correctly Big 10 west is there for the taking) and Go Cowboys just afraid of our HC calling plays when he can’t manage timeouts

It's a lack of diversity combined with a lack of community interest/support.  A good coach could improve the interest and support, but not the diversity.

No not disgruntled, I realised in the 80's that most jobs are done before interviews because that's the way it has always been done. No chance in heck i would ever get it(an interview) cause i don't know anyone close. No hurt feelings just relaying information from my 36 years in this business. If you think i feel hurt, hell it is still America and you can say that- maybe YOU feel better now. I will continue to post based on my 36 years, other coaches are on here but if actively coaching, they ll be careful to speak. Whenever I was actively coaching football, I just lurked. Hell many know me cause i have been known as Coach Bear in east Harris County at 6 different districts. But i will always be truthful. Social media brings out a lot of Napoleans and 3rd team high school players like uncle Rico from Napolean Dynamite. God made men to speak with logic, women with emotion. Sometimes i feel there are more women on her than men, again my opinion so PLEASE don't take offense and miss the keys from the next order at Stripes!!!!!! Butthurt, i though i was quite whimsical, used to eat tacos at stripes but put on an extra twenty that i am trying to lose now. So stay healthy!!

This morning on 97.5 ESPN radio Houston, Lance and John were wondering how the corona was so bad in the NFL and NBA yet not even noticed in college football. And i think that maybe they have to follow the company ESPN line of the sky is falling. But NO colleges are using a PCR test which is a fraud and moneymaker to test for a cold. That is why Baker Mayfield and the rest of the NFL is PISSED. They are not even sick and testing positive. This is the final push before Christmas to put FAKE FEAR into the public for control. College football said to hell with testing we got bowl games to play. The NFL is slowly changing, but the NBA will carry the CCP theme of fear as long as they can. Kyrie will win---they are now letting him play in away games. We live in a crooked world because we have developed into sheep and not rational thinking humans.

NFL will soon cave to actual critical thinking and stop the foolish testing because of pressure from teams getting screwed like Cleveland. This weird dimensional world we live in will slowly go back to normal OR it will double down hard and emulate what is currently going on in Australia, Germany, and Canada to a degree. The only difference between here and there is the 2nd amendment and our guns--------pretty awesome defense to have in our back pocket now. The NFL could be the determining factor as big $$ is now conflicting with woke media.

Agree 100 percent. There is one BIG reason to choose soc to beat lh and that is the visuals, very athletic soc team with big college recruits. And understand that is their personnna, m o - however you want to describe it. And many people will choose them because that is the low hanging fruit, BUT football (in a one game playoff) is such a psychological game it would get Freud excited. First coaching staffs, I don’t know enough about soc staff other than the hc has been there 8 years and this is his furthest playoff run ? Why- using forensics one could say it was a talent explosion for some reason. This doesn’t help if soc if your going to play a serial killer ( i use this term keeping with the forensics theme- serial killer in that compared to regular people serial killers are different much like lh is different than the normal zone read shotgun team we see in texas hs football today. LH personna is a “ we can’t beat you athletically so we’ll beat you with scheme. Their type of offense is the most difficult for a seasoned defensive coordinator to prepare for let alone 16-18 year old defensive players whose eyes are big cause of Cowboys stadium and the media has anointed you greatest 5Ateam ever like USC. And then there is the Aw shucks, we just some friendly country boys attitude lh displays. Notice how much they help their opponents up off the ground? Nice or ulterior motive? Having a friendly helpful opponent takes the anger edge from a defense that is useful in defense. Andrew Luck at Stratford did this to us constantly when i coached at Eisenhower. He did it at Stanford and with the Colts also. Pissed me off as a coach cause it worked against my defense. Back to the forensics serial killer theme, soc is a blunt force instrument like a hammer while lh is a small scalpel, tiny but deadly sharp. Soc would win 18-19 out of 20 games against lh BUT they only play ONE. Lh will win by 1 touchdown in the game if the weekend or soc by 35. I want a good game and i am picking lh to have that one in 20 game tomorrow morning. I am excited to go tomorrow for the triple header as i reunion with several of my 78 Marlin Bulldogs teammates.
