Huffman’s Air Attack will prove too much for the L-Train. No disrespect intended, just my opinion.

Feels like every school in 2019 should have turf.
I know this debate is tired and old, but it’s my opinion. It is what it is.

As much as I’m pulling for The U, I’ll have to go with Big Ned on this one.

Not an upset; this game was much closer than the score. If you were there, you know what I am talking about. This young team will be dangerous after the open week. By then, the full offense will be in. Young players will be contributing toward wins, instead of standing on the sideline. All of this will help them to deal with sudden change. (Special formations and personnel group are coming.) Don't sleep on these guys; they are changing the culture.
Was told that Tarkington had 2 TDs called back. Sounds like it could’ve been way worse that if scoreboard looked...?

I can’t speak to an upset
I do recall somebody mentioning something about the greatest playcaller in 3A

looks like about 35 to 40 on the field.
That about the same amount as kids that came out for baseball?

From a selfish fan standpoint, it’s fun to be at games when the stadium is full. Last season, after realignment, it seemed that there were local games that left something to be desired in the energy department.
BMT vs PA vs Mid County delivers the goods
That being said, bigger competition at 6A benefits WB and BU

Would be nice to see PA, Mid County schools and both Beaumont schools all have each other on the schedule. Would make for some packed stadiums and good “atmosphere”.

Anahuac has always had athletes just not coaching or consistent coaching.
They also have way better facilities than almost any program in SETX regardless of classification and pay scale is closer to that of Houston than the Golden Triangle. Much easier to recruit coaches to come work for you when that’s the case.
Having good relationships with those guys is the cherry on top.

I agree. Bring in a guy who has some experience at a winning program, who can bring in guys who can help make a change. Easier said than done, but there has to be someone out there who can take them to the next level.
And an administration that wants the same

It could be a really good job of the admin would give the kids and coaches what they need to compete. Seems to be in a constant state of flux and inconsistency.
I said before that place could be special given the right circumstances
