You and I both know he didn't just pick up and leave for no reason. The politics in that town, especially in relation to athletics, are unbelievable. We can go back and forth on this, but there's no use. He's happy, Jasper is happy, so were just beating a dead horse. 
The "I Told Ya So" comment would be for the ones who would rather see him leave than stay. I hope that is not the case, but I've been around long enough to know the grass isn't always greener in these situations. 
Also, conceding games, come on man. 

Better watch yourself around here mentioning anything good Howard did...the trolls will come out and start to cry foul! 
I'd reach back out to Stan because the guy is still invested there. He'd be willing to ride the time out and do what's right by kids...but I don't know anything. 

It is definitely very rare. But with those kids, still only averaged 2 wins a season. They had a rare run that they made the playoffs 3 years in a row and actually won the bi-district round game under Carpenter and I also want to say that those are the only 3 playoff appearances in school history as well. Well 2 playoff appearances with Carpenter and 1 under Howard.

Or he moves along when the talent starts to dip.  There's been a lot of lucky coaches in their career that have hung their hats on that and are called successful.

Remind me again what his record was outside of Southlake and Westlake?  I don't remember Marble Falls being world beaters by any stretch and he had, what, maybe 2 decent years in Keller?

Scott Bartlett - Son in 8th grade and son in 7th grade. 
Brandon Cropper - Son in 9th grade and son in 6th grade. 
Dustin Marsh - No kids in high school or even close to high school yet. 
Dallon James - Very young kids. 
Eric Sullivan - Has had sons play and be very successful for Faircloth. I am not sure how much his senior plays but I know Eric and he is not going to push for a coach to be fired because his son is not a kid getting the most playing time. 
Jake Lefort- His son is on varsity and is a senior and he plays. 
Lana Parker- Her youngest is over 40. I am sure she isn't riding the pine at PN-G. 
 
I personally know every person on the board except Dallon. Please don't pass along rumors that could be harmful when you have no idea if there is truth in them. 

Take away 3 turnovers for a lot of games and outcomes are different. Part of being the better team is not committing turnovers.

Faircloth won't be bullied into doing what school board member's want him to do! I was told that some kid's of the school board are riding the pine and don't want him back. I believe his contract is up after this season. The Indian's have been pretty successful since he got here. A lot of people hate that every year the defense is terrible. I'd rather watch an entertaining offense versus a great defense and no offense. That's about what we were getting after Long left. Faircloth in my eyes has been a pretty damn good coach. Every year we have a pretty damn good QB. And a lot of that is on him. I'm hearing his contract won't be renewed but I've heard that many times. People better watch what they wish for. Change does not mean better in many cases!

Why dont you write a paragraph using "run on" sentences with "incoherent" vocabulary? The HH coaches could then be enlightened.

Not every kid is going to get treated the same and preferential treatment definitely happens.  Some kids get a 1st and 2nd shot over a lot of kids because they're there and putting in the work (look at your oldest son).  I would also say the coaching staff has at least 100 other kids they're trying to evaluate, put in the right position, and monitor academically so sometimes kids fall through the cracks.  I've seen places where it's obvious the superintendent's/school board president's/booster club's/Baptist preacher's kid gets playing time over everyone else because of how political situations can be, but Huffman, I've thought, hasn't been that way AS BAD as some other places.
I've always been taught the best ability is dependability and sometimes with more talented kids (or kids that have "potential") they think their natural ability should make up for the lack of accountability, preparation, or execution.
You didn't post the other side about your younger son but when I see a parent rant on a social media platform in the way you have my 1st question is going to be "what kind of dedication does your son have?"  If it's spotty do you really think thrusting him into a position over others who have been dedicated is the right way to build a team/program?  Also, what is that teaching your son in the long run?  I'm only assuming because of what I've seen in the past but you never did specify what your younger son's work ethic is like.  My take would be to go meet with the coach directly in charge of him and ask what he has to do to get better and get more playing time (again, I don't know if you've done that but you definitely haven't given any inclination that you have).
I hope your rant helps you out and I'm pretty sure if the Huffman coaches are reading what you posted they probably know who you are.  I don't think going after people on a platform behind a screen name is the right way to address an issue and I can only assume what you're saying in and around the community that causes division.

🤯Well nothing  like airing out frustration on SETX message board. If you had issues with the staff, should have been discussed privately with HC and AD. Sorry your child is going through some tough times, but bringing up 2 boys through their program, I cant say I have experienced any of that with this staff. You ask both of my kids, they will reflect back and say nothing but good about their HS coaches at HH. Good luck with you and your sons issues.

Plus I already see eight opt-ups to 5A-D1 which should push it even higher than it would go naturally. Looks like we're in prime stalking position for the next couple of years.
