How about '86 & '87.  In '86 WO-S pulled a Silsbee lost the first one and won the playoff game. In '87 WO-S and Kevin Smith & Co. win 3-0.  I think.

Yes the game we got our first dose of Surratt.  4th and 12 from like their own 18, and early. He goes for it and makes it, like he's saying "bring it".  Windy, yes  but the cold was worse.  On the way home I saw a dog stuck to a fire hydrant.  Lost to the state champions that night.

Good point.  Seems like WO-S has had a lot of short fields due to special teams, turnovers and such.  Going 75 yards against Jaspers defense is a different animal. And don't talk Carthage yet, we're talking different planet. Should be interesting this week tho.

Mustangs Dismantle Hapless Cardinals in 63-0 Beatdown. The Bridge City Cardinals whom earlier this week filed for and were granted a Neighbor Mercy Exemption by county arbitrator Dewd Terdley, we're rode hard and never put up.  The exemption is part of a UIL mercy package which prevents the total stompdown of an opponent, hence only the 63-0 final.

Why you ask me if I hate the Mustangs? I'm at Hooks stadium now sleeping under the stands.

Actually this has been the case for years.  One year the UIL was trying to work with one school and told them the only opening they had was in 5A Dl and the school said we'll take it.

Three schools in District 11-4A-D2, accused of fudging numbers up on snapshot day to move up to D1 and get away from WOS.  😂🤣😂

Knocking a team has won four state titles is pretty lame. 
Yes, in comparison with Carthage they are not as elite. But the vast majority of teams in the state would love to have WOS success.

Don't be sorry, be careful.  Majestyk gonna serve up some medicine and there ain't nothing good about it. What would you know about being on top. Carthage was bottom feeders for so long they were called the Slabs not the Bulldogs. Finally get on a little run around 2008 and win a title in the Era they're giving away 12 trophys instead of 5.  If WO-S followed the almighty on-top Bulldogs lead we'd win our first state title in 2043. I'm guessing most of those folks up that way are ate up with it like you, drove thru there a couple weeks back and everyone was driving a convertible, 90% of those folk couldn't fit in a car with a roof. The 'Dogs have been on a roll lately and should be proud, they've been the best.  WO-S may not always end up on top but have been competitive every year since they were born, and yes, we're proud.  And no, you didn't hurt my feelings, that ain't gonna happen.  Now you need to run along, you're in over your head here. Behave yourself and I'll see to it these good folk let you keep coming over here and visiting with us.

Anyway I'm trying to understand how is it that WO-S is your business. You are not for "The triangle"  You may want to bypass my post! As I will yours. 

Looking at some of these videos reminds me what a friend of mine who does videos, highlight shorts and such told me.  He said if I or whoever had any homemade or original videos, highlights of Silsbee beating WO-S to hold on to them that they were so rare they were priceless. If you have any of these you may want to check around and hold on to them for a while.

Now that you mention it I can see that.  But hey, I can up the jack and move on back with the best of the b essers.
