I heard rumblings of the WB QB moving to PN-G but seems that he may have already moved over to Silsbee? 
Shea will keep his current position as noted and the would be sophomore would take over. 
Jackson Christian 6'4" 275 and Mario Miguel 6' 2" 305 return on the line. Dylan Romero and the freshman Wolfford will add more size to the line. Ngyuen and Chatagnier will return at RB. Adams and Nunley at WR. 
 
Defense has 28, 7, 47, 94 and 20 coming back. Plus add in 26, 42 and 43 who all had starts at LB. 
With the talent coming up and plenty of kids who played this season PN-G should be good.

I've said for a long time, that we (PNG) should have nothing to do with Cherokees. If anything we should be Caddoes or Karankawas; or Commanches perhaps. But if all else fails I wouldn't mind adopting "Welders" as a mascot. There's lots of possibilities with The Welders. Same number of letters, etc. "W -E -L -D- E- R- S, tack 'em Welders tack 'em!" 

I am messing with the guys who in another thread were saying Nederland had a big disadvantage in the district due to enrollment numbers. 

It is going to be tough to find 22 kids who can play out of those 170. I feel bad for Nederland and the huge disadvantage they have being in this bully of a district.

Thanks for your opinion and your never ending hijacking of threads, but we are talking about practice, practice. Not the fall games, practice. Not how great Crosby is, practice. So you have any comments on that or will you fill the thread about how PN-G has no chance unless Crosby plays their JV? 
 
PS. I acknowledge your football IQ but damn I would like to open a thread once about PN-G that doesn't have your comments about Crosby, FB Marshall etc. We all get it, they are great. 

Some folks have known but I will make it public. My time as a full time administrator/broadcaster is up. I told my wife of 33 years that when she retired from teaching that I would retire with her to the beach. She retired last May and I told her I would finish out the football and basketball seasons of this year then I would join her. (would have joined her in May but needed to stay on after the passing of our beloved admin WOSGrad). I am so ready to be a beach bum.
I have enjoyed these past 17 years here on the site. I have seen it grow from just a little message board to now be considered a valuable media outlet. It truly has been a labor of love.
First of all, I want to thank Jordan Wilson, the owner of this site, by inviting me on as a staff member and eventually an administrator. He trusted me with the help of running this site and allowed me to "do my thang" and start my broadcast career. It has truly been a blessing. Thanks
I want to thank Todd Broussard (WOSGrad) who is looking down on us from heaven. He has been my partner in crime for all these years and is the reason this site is what it is today. He was the man!! I dearly miss my old friend and I hope that he is up there saying "job well done my friend". Thanks Todd for everything you did for me and this site.

You’re not supposed to tell us WHERE the drop is happening. It’s like you haven’t even seen a James Bond movie. 

I totally get kids being burned out of baseball. The best athletes play multiple sports and each sport requires a different set of skills that make you a better all around athlete. I know I burned one of my boys out and put too much pressure on him.  I should have enjoyed the moments more than PUSHING him to do better and be PERFECT. 3-4 is a great day and I questioned the one AB that he took for strike 3. Yes he did get to college and yes he was done after his first year and it was totally my fault. Parents, learn from myself and other parents that push their kids to get this D1 scholarship and play at the next level. Spent countless amounts of money on travel ball, hotels, Perfect game crap, on and on and on.......Now i am sitting back wishing I would have enjoyed these moments watching MY BOY just play ball. Sorry but just my admittance to being an over bearing prick to my kids when they were just wanting to go play ball without all that pressure from Dad. If I could do it over again!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in no way on the board or anything to do with PNGISD other than kids in the district. This has been the talk around town and is open information. People have been spouting off about all the dirt that will come out and I said something I actually heard versus just playing the I heard something you don't know crap. I love how so many people on hear make it sound like they are in the know, but yet nobody will come out and tell “The real truth/story”! It’s all a bunch of BS, there are about 7 people that know the full story, 
Dr Gonzales, Brandon Faircloth, and the 5 school board members, if you aren’t one of these then just stop it. I guess if it makes you feel important then go ahead, but all that it makes me think is that you don’t know crap.
Also, please for the life of me please, please explain why getting voted out of a school board position would be devastating?? I don’t get it, it’s not a paid position! I honestly don’t know why anyone would want to spend their hard earned money to run for those positions anyway!

Never a good time to lose you coach, unless you want him gone, but right now would be an absolute awful time for PNG with the upcoming realignment. A lot of y'all are talking about what PNG can or can't do RIGHT NOW but are failing to look forward, like to February 3rd? 
Outside of FB Marshall and Liberty Hill, who will probably be moved to region 3 this realignment, who else would you point to in the southern half of the state in 5A-D2 that would be a hands down favorite over PNG next year? Maybe one of the Corpus schools in the semis? They already beat Montgomery who's losing their entire offense anyway, Brenham isn't what they once were, Huntsville is probably about to slide some and you watched a team you beat last year donkey stomp FB Marshall in bi-district. 
I said it four years ago when it happened but splitting 5A was a Godsend for SETX and other areas of the state where the growth is slow to stagnant. 6A is 6A, 5A-D1 is JV 6A for your growing suburban areas about to move up to the top class like Crosby and BH. However, 5A-D2 is made for schools that just opened like Lake Creek and ones that have "mature" populations like the SETX and East Texas 5A's.
I'm not saying PNG can win state or even the region but it's a mistake to think that they shouldn't be extremely competitive for the foreseeable future. Same goes for some others.
