  1. The Q, the RB and even their H back #9 are all extremely dangerous.  There is no arm tackling that big dude and when a linebacker actually gets in his way the kid dishes out pancakes with or without the ball.

I feel like this could be a long night for the Indians. And I am a big Bost fan.  I just cannot see him being able to outscore Nederland this season.  Big Ned has a big physical Defense like most Nederland teams in the past. This year they happen to have some horses and physical players on Offense to go with it.

good luck to both teams. Always an exciting fun game to attend.

  2. Nederland's D is legit.  Bost is a very good passer and a decent runner. His receivers are suspect.  I saw Bost's 1st 3 balls bounce off his receivers facemasks last friday.  He is fast but goes down fairly easy.

Port Neches cannot handle a running Q as dynamic as Nederlands and the RB is outstanding.

    Big Ned No problem 45-30

This game will only make Nederland better. Has Ned got a QB over there this year ? It's been about a decade since they've had a good one. I hope Ned takes that district

Last year the Nederland QB lead district in passing yards and set Nederland all-time passing yards for a season but sure a decade since a good one...but Cunningham is an athlete and do some things

For the record, racism/white supremacy is the competition for the control of resources.  You may not like my historic facts, like the term, 5 dollar indians, but I do not nor control any resources such as food, banks, weaponising the government against an individual or group of people, etc.  So, I have been blocked before and it's only a matter of time which one of you cry babies will have me blocked again....

    ummm  What?

Dude... we snuck into the playoffs last year in 4AD1.  I honestly think that anything less than third in this particular district would be an embarrassment.  Normally I'd say that a team dropping down should be expected to compete for a DC, but most teams aren't dropping down into a District already populated by WOS and Silsbee.

Which two teams will beat us out of those last two spots?  HF?  OF? Liberty? HJ?

    We'll be fine.

    HF Orangefield and HJ honestly.
HF vs BC Friday.  I think you might find out just fine BC will be in this district.

HF upset them last year. No way EC lets that happen again. I do think HF has a good team this year but they’re going to have to show it or it could get ugly because I don’t see EC letting up at all.

H-F went a few rounds deep last year.  Lost to Silsbee in the final second of the game to a blocked FG scoop and score.  Beat Center by a few scores, beat EC by a few scores.  I don’t understand what you are talking about with this upset nonsense.  This will be a good game.  I highly doubt it gets ugly either way.

I have to agree. The H-J game was a snoozer. EC is loaded more than ever this year with 8 and 7 returning. The coach said on TV that "we are the only team that can stop us" from winning state. EC will go 10-0 before the playoffs start. No one in the district should beat us. EC will sail through to the 3rd or 4th round.

You think EC will make easy work of H-F in the Rice Bowl this week?   Nah.  H-F is younger but they can match EC speed.   I do not see them sailing through this one.

From what I seen today, Nederland needs alot of work. The BH game was only 4 innings.

They graduated a lot of kids, quality kids. They are extremely low on pitching and what they do have, I doubt any district team will face them at this time...but Nederland will have score a lot of runs to have a chance in district games

Any word on how they will handle seeding?

Should hear something today I assume. Nederland probably good with coin flip, PA might want to try and get that taste out of their mouth from last week 😬 but why risk injury for either team? First round you either run with or control pace of game (Dog style) with Galveston Ball or get Friendswood and depend on making more shots with slower game...second round is where is gets tough

Good Luck to both teams. Hopefully this district can make a good playoff run

  10. Congrats to PN-G and especially Smith. He seems to have some excitement over there around basketball. He took over a team that lost its 3 top scorers and made some noise.And  3 local teams in playoffs from this district is nice...but I wouldn’t call it a tough district. It’s top heavy with 2 good teams and then a considerable drop off...it’s like Aggie chanting SEC after every game...

    21-5A....21-5A...21-5A!!! 😬

No Fluke...Kid went for 41 and hasn't scored 41 in all combined games. He was on fire and no one could cover him.

I’ve seen the kid and his “supporting staff”,  how is he getting shots off? Hefner wouldn’t have scored 41 on PN-G even if he shot 100% the first game. So I guess add this kid to the growing list of local players that are more athletic than Hef 😬
