Good to see Yordan hit the ball hard! 3-0 Astros top 7th. Greinke looked pretty solid as well.

Texas’ ace Ty Madden threw a CG shutout vs. UH last night and Texas won 1-0. 110 pitches, 14 K’s against 2 BB’s and 2 hits. Clocked at 98 in the 9th. 

Is there anyone in the state in 4A that can play within 20 points of HJ?

Pasadena won 47-43. 1st playoff win since 1993.

Bielak and Javier look solid early on as rookies. Kyle Tucker has been stepping up as of late. Should be a fun series vs. SD.

I enjoyed the documentary. I was 10 in 1998 and remember how dominant he was but it was cool to get an inside view of his competitive nature and how crazy things behind the scenes were.

Bryce Elder looked solid for the Horns. 7 IP, 11 K, 3 H, 1 BB. Horns beat Boise St. 7-0 to start the season 6-0.

I watched a bit of each game and enjoyed it. The new rules are interesting, and I’m curious to see how teams go about extra points. The QB for Houston is a ball player! I think I’ll keep tuning in and firmly believe this new XFL football is better than no football.

West Hardin's basketball district is vastly different from its football. Easy to forget from time to time with football having the division set up and the other sports not. 

Just saw the basketball district. Much more favorable in comparison to their draw in football.

Brutal! Doubt WH will get within single digits in any district football or basketball games in the next 2 years. Combine that with long road trips and that is just rough!

Good for him! The security a win gives him on tour is huge. 

The documentary that Netflix released on Aaron Hernandez is pretty interesting. The dude will not get any sympathy from me at all, but I do feel for his daughter. Not so much the mother of his daughter because in my opinion and based on reasonable evidence, she was an accomplice and disposed of a murder weapon and lied under oath about it on the stand by playing dumb. Based on strong evidence and witness testimonies, he killed 3 people in cold blood and attempted to kill 1 more. Personally, there’s a special place in hell for people like that, but the documentary was very well done nonetheless.

It is nice seeing the Horns play well against a good team but it almost frustrates me more that they lost 5 games when they have the ability to do this offensively.
