I am not sure how Nancy Pelosi doesn't choke when she says the word "immoral".

What is worse? Not doing something because you don't agree with it or agree with it but not do it anyway? (and forcing nearly a million people to work for free)

I guess. Likewise.

I recently asked my friend's little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be the President. Both of her parents, Liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her. "If you were President, what would be the first thing you would do?"
She replied, "i'd give food and houses to all the homeless people".
Her parents beamed with pride.
"Wow....what a worthy goal," I told her. "But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and i'll pay you $50. Then I will take you to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use towards food and new house".
She thought that over a few seconds, the she looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work and you just pay him $50?"
I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

Have you tried the Grotto? It's an Italian place in the Nugget. It's the one place that my wife and I go every time we are there. I highly recommend the pizza.
I haven't tried it. We will have to stop by on one of our trips.

I don't recall Bush playing football in school. Could be wrong.
Now Jordyn Adams was a very good QB in middle school.
Also, I would love to see Devon on the football field. I think he would be a monster at Safety or OLB like his older brother.
Yeah I had a buddy of mine telling me the other day about how much they would have helped. Can't help but see those two or three putting Silsbee over the hump against Cuero this year.

And it’s kind of a man’s mega sandwich so if the wife likes something a little less meaty, the shrimp po boy is also good. I posit that any guy who passes on the Special loses his man card but it’s permissible for the ladies.
HAHA I hear you. I'll make a meal of it tonight.

@Tigers2010 Darrell’s (go a little further up the loop and exit Ryan St). Get the Darrell’s Special (with the Jalapeño mayo if you like a little spice). Best sandwich I’ve ever had anywhere. You can thank me later.
Right on!. I will let you know how it goes. haha

I wish they would go Texas, but two former Nederland grads are now in the A&M scouting dept
Glad you didn't take it seriously, I meant it in jest. It awesome to see local kids gets scholarships to any school

He and Adams both signed with Austin Peay. Probably at least 100k apiece in scholarship values.
Very nice.

Nederland’s Kade Scott RB 2021 and Ricky Johnson DT 2022 both had a lot of talks with A&M and took visits in the fall.
Nederland to A&M pipeline is just getting started...
No wonder they keep finishing 5th in the SEC

Sigler has always (as long as I’ve been following anyway) had very integral parts of his team play both so I would say definitely not (i.e., he doesn’t interfere with them playing). McCain’s big brother ended up with a football schollie. Every kid and his family makes their own decision.
You could tell Devon was going to be a D1 player years ago. The only question was how high. Those scholarships are worth a lot of money and I don’t blame the kids who don’t want to risk it on the gridiron when hoops is their ticket. And with Bush’s frame, I definitely wouldn’t want to be absorbing shots on that body when he’s another kid whose future is on the court.
Reminds me of Chase Shugart in Bridge City a few years back. Kid was a really talented QB who had already signed or committed to UT in baseball. He and his family decided no football his senior year. He’s now slinging the ball for a living.
Also, see my post in the "Locker Room"

Where is McCain going? Last I heard, that I can remember, Baylor was recruiting him?

The wife and I are going to the Nugget tonight, we usually eat at Landry's. Trying to mix it up. Any suggestions?

I've always said Texas would never fully legalize it the way Colorado an California have. Vidor just legalized the sale of alcohol in 2011. And I think there is another "dry" county in the area. Do you really think they would allow marijuana use?
Jasper County is dry.

Yeah, that sucks. Would be nice if Nancy wasn't trying to take another vacation.
Democrats are being obstructionist. Plain and simple.

So was McCain. Saw him play in jr high. Kid was electric and was easily the best player on the field that particular night.
Sigler not let em play? It is a shame. it is highschool, those boys need to be playing everything they can, especially if they can be significant contributors. You never get this time back.

I heard recently heard that Bush is was a phenomenal football player as well.

And football is not basketball. Evadale can play Newton in football a million times and never win.
Got the locations wrong, but I was close. Lol

Usually a team from the East, but maybe a team like TB (had they won) and some of the more obscure clubs, who might have eked out a win against the hated Cowboys.
TB beat the Saints his year too. Crazy year.

I’m GUESSING Duane moves on after this year. I don’t see him sticking this out if the cupboard is as bare as everyone is saying. A coach like him won’t have trouble landing in a better situation.
I don't think he will. He gave up the HFC job after this season to focus on basketball. But, the cupboard is definitely dry.

I recall when I was at Port Arthur Bob Hope getting beat by Kountze 126-41.
Sutherland is a classy dude, I'm sure he did everything he could to keep it down.
I seen Kountze beat a district opponent 133-30. They can handle it.

Nobody can complain about the score, especially Kountze.
