Man I sure have been missing crying ass parent comment. Can you imagine how bad his kid must suck at sports? I don't think Lumberton parents will ever figure out the real problem, their genes. This guys kid probably needed help getting his jersey on. He can't dribble with his left hand because he has it knuckle deep in his arsehole. Fundamentals...his kid probably fundamentally eats his boogers. Coaches can't help if their kids are small, the kids parents are small. Thankfully they drive the jacked up Fords to compensate... Discipline. How can a coach develop discipline in a kid that can run home, cry to mommy, have mommy post garbage on the internet behind a screen name. Quit makng excuses for your kids.

She also said Global Warming was our "World War II". What a sad sad group of New Yorkers who have been so screwed by Democrats that they felt they had to turn to her...

I want to know what happened to make this close after Memorial went on that 9-0 run to start the 3rd period.  The score ended up close againto end the red period.  Is the Ant Mound more resilient than we originally thought or did Memorial have an off game?

I think this is the 2nd time the Hill played them within two. Two explanations: Barbers Hill is significantly better than I thought or Memorial is not as good as I thought.

Maybe it’s just an amusing story to make a political point, directed at the majority of homeless who are in that situation because they want to be, or made bad life altering decisions.  Some years back, in an effort to reduce the number of homeless in Miami, the city acquired some land outside the city limits, and setup Mobil homes.  It was free.  They had very few takers.  You may find it hard to believe, but many like that life.  America has a history of homelessness, but years ago they were referred to as hobos.  Hobos had to keep moving because most towns & cities had laws against vagrancy that they actually enforced.

Bottom line, you can hardly joke or tell amusing stories without someone getting offended.  The little story above only said “homeless”, it didn’t say, or imply mentally ill.  Only people it’s acceptable to make fun of now is white southerners and Aggies.  Everything else is taboo.  Yes, our mental illness facilities went to pot in the 60’s.  To summarize it, Psychiatrists said, We have folks in there that don’t need to be.  Turn-’em lose, said the politicians, looking to spend the money on something else.  The result, to coin a movie title, we went “A Bridge To Far”.

Not that I recall. The most games he has missed are from suspensions for cheating.

He missed an entire season after tearing his ACL. The Brady Rule was then put into effect. Pass Rushers who contacts the knees are penalized because of Brady's ACL tear.

Maybe the homeless guy is suffering from mental illness and can’t perform sequential tasks. Maybe a lack of access to basic medical care has diminished his physical abilities. I don’t like it when political rhetoric utilizes straw men to make its point. Homelessness in our country is a far more complex issue than that catchy little story illustrates.

Wah. I can't speak for all homeless people, but I do know several personally. They are homeless because they couldn't put the meth down. I'm sure there are plenty that have the issues you describe, though.

I see.  Now we are to pass judgement on the qualifications of someone based upon their "arrogance".  I dont think he was arrogant at all and simply outraged over the sham of an "investigation".  If we accept your theory on arrogance as a major determinant of qualification, please, do tell, exactly who will be the final arbiter of "arrogance".   I perceived the individual who preceeded Trump as president as being very arrogant but , although not by my liking, he was still the President.

Obama wasn't an arrogant prick at all, was he?

Well, the facilities are probably coming up for a bond this year, but I have never seen facilities win a game.   Nederland beats teams with better facilities on a regular basis(Central, Ozen, United, Crosby , Barbers Hill, you get the point.)   As far as pay, it is competitive and near the top for this area.   Money doesn't just come from the sky.

I don't disagree aboit falling from the sky. Reagan gets on here constantly bashing coaches. Was against Barrow, and probably still is. My point was, the elite of the elite coaches aren't coming to Nederland with poor facilities and a pay cut

So explain WOS and Newton.   Where are the money and facilities there?  That's a weak argument.

One more thing;  where/who is the source of this quote?

Small schools are different. Newton had some really good teams the last few years and that class or two had some studs. Don't act like that running to State every year. WOS fits your argument better. There is an exception to every rule, WOS is probably that exception.

You must be from Nederland, and my comment struck a nerve. If you don't have the facilities and you don't pay worth a darn, you better be able to out athlete everybody (WOS & Newton). I'll stick by my weak argument.
