For all you youngsters, Drew Pearson used to warm up on the sidelines catching the ball with one BARE hand. He ran perfect routes and caught the ball with two hands. Of course, back then, every play wasn't celebrated with a stupid dance and taunting. They were men.

The catch was amazing but let's not make him into some kind of god. Plus, they lost the game so it is very forgettable.

Where was the offensive pass interference?

Cowboys never get the calls. Plus, Beckham was the one interfering on that catch.

They must specialize in prosecution law. Eveyone knows the aggies know nothing about defense.

To be clear, Bama beat wvu by 10. Bama beat aggy by 59. UT beat wvu by 17. Therefore UT would beat aggy by 2/3rds of a hundred (team first - that means 66).

No football team is afraid of any other football team. If you are, you should not play......period!

As bad as Texas has been in some games this year, we are never "afraid" to square off against the Ags.

Here's what I think......according to all the sec head runners on this site, if you are from the sec and you have the recruits, you should annihilate any opponent outside the sec (not true, but the mentality just the same). This is simply the sec trying to flex their muscle against the powerful University of Texas. I believe the fear factor here is that the sec does not want to see an outside matchup that would draw more fans (viewership) and make more money than anything they have to offer. Just my humble opinion.

    HOOK 'EM!

Where is the LSU thread? I need a play-by-play account of all the LSU scoring. Never mind....got it.

HA HA HA.....LSU SECOND to lowly Arkansas. Laid a big goose egg. Wasn't that Arkansas' first sec win in a while?

Guess they will have to rely on touting their CONFERENCE now.

Good thing you guys don't play in the Big 10. I mean, Indiana beat Mizzou so I don't know who you would beat in a real conference like that one.

Well gee, I guess we will keep going with this until we exhaust it. How about this.....If you can't afford day care, how do you afford a kid? Duh, someone would have had to think about their life and the consequences that come with having sex. I would rather turn a female onto birth control than to pay for her to raise a kid.......much cheaper, but we have too many people making bad decisions and expecting someone else to pick up their tab. Someone in that situation.....I would think day care is the least of their problems. My sympathy has its limitations.

Like the old saying.....you made your bed, now lie in it.

Romo looked good. glad to see him moving around fairly well and throwing the ball pretty accurately. it was a bad team, but in the NFL, any win is a good win.

It's called family and friends and learning how to make things work rather than throwing your hands in the air and asking "where is my help?" Plus, you would have too many people that can afford day care abusing the system and getting the free stuff. Please tell me that doesn't happen with this or any other program. Lol. I have absolutely no problem helping a working class person. It's the freeloaders that can kiss my rear end.

Can I veto free day care?

The score could have been much worse. Garbage TD at the end and Bailey's 54 yd. FG instead of a Witten TD early.

    Sure missed McClain today.

Didn't get to see the whole game, but I did see some good hitting on defense. The running game was awesome but we can't chalk this one up because you have to play the #1 team or it doesn't count.

Just playing your game......and I will keep bringing it up because all we hear is how other conferences play nobodys all year long so they should get no credit in the rankings. Yet the Ags can pad their won/loss with SMUs and Lamars so it looks good, but aren't they nobody's? It just depends on which side of the fence you are on as to what you perceive to be true.

By being polled by people who no nothing except paper. Play the games and Florida State and Oklahoma beat the elite sec west teams.

Big girl, your every post makes you look sillier than a couple in a Cialis commercial.

I guess that when all the ammo you have is veto, then it is next to throwing rocks.....not much punch and very unsophisticated. I don't think you understand any of Obama's policies or care how they affect everyone. You follow him for only one reason and that is obvious.

Obama is a communist and Muslim. Are you? His philosophy does not fit a capitalistic society and the American people have responded in force to stymie practically anything he has done and everything he will attempt. Our government is set up so that people like Obama cannot become dictators and force their will upon the masses. It is a good thing for everyone.

Lame duck. Obama got shellacked the other night. Or rather his policies did. After all, he is the one that said his policies were on the ballot. What an embarrassing rout of a defeat it was for him. Even his home (blue)state of Illinois elected a Rep Governor over one that Obama campaigned for. He's the emperor with no clothes.

Good strategy Big Girl- to Hel_ with what is good for the country or what the majority wants.  As long as the messiaha either wins or goes down with some degree of revenge/defiance.  Very good examples of the tolerance and civility he so often demanded of the country.

One of our frequent flyers on the Democrat's side of this forum said a few months ago said that the Republicans were a sinking ship. It looks like that sinking ship just torpedoed the USS Obama.

On the comic side, I had to turn on MSNBC and watch their late coverage and I am glad that I did not watch them during the actual counting of votes because watching them, I thought the Democrats had won. Then they had about a 20 minute discussion about raising the minimum wage and showed New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen after her "huge" 52% win as an incumbent in a liberal state and she was talking about pushing (yet again) for the higher minimum wage with her stunning 2% victory.

HUH? It kinds of reminds me of the Cpl Hudson (Bill Paxton) in the movie Aliens after they had just fought their way out of the compound against hordes of aliens and he told a guy (and I have to clean it up for this forum), "Maybe you haven't been keeping up on current events pal but we just got our butts kicked!!".

Here's a tip Jeanne, your party had a super majority in both houses that the Republicans could not stop as they did not have enough votes to even filibuster in the Senate. You also had the presidency and that two branch sweep that was unstoppable... yet you and they did nothing. Well...... they did pass Obamacare which coincidentally is likely the reason that you just got smashed on what Obama a few weeks ago called, a referendum on his policies.

The most important part of this Senate victory is not legislation per se because Obama will simply veto almost any bill sent. The huge victory is that Obama can get no treaties passed, no cabinet appointments and no federal judges including the Supreme Court without Republican consent. He has refused to compromise or even get involved legislatively. Now he is completely neutered unless he makes some kinds of concessions. It is also interesting that Harry Reid changed the long time rules and threw away the 60 votes required by Senate to bring something to a floor vote and used the so called "nuclear option" requiring only a majority vote to end any filibuster on nominations. We now he is faced with the fact that the Republicans will use the rules change to shove it right back in their face.
Oh yeah, thank you Obama for giving the Republicans the most representatives in the US House in history. Not even during the heyday of the Republicans and their contract with America did they hold as many seat as they will come January when the new Congress is sworn in.    And one last time, Jimmy Carter is so glad that Obama has proven to be the worst president at least in modern history as even Carter never lost the Senate until Ronald Reagan beat him in 1980 (he never lost the House even in losing to Reagan).    So much for that sinking ship................

Ned would charge for parking but heck, we don't even have a gate. We would need a meter maid type charging, going car to car through the neighborhood, and then it would be on the honor system. Our parking stinks but we pack 'em in anyway.

I like Butch stadium. Very nice facility although I have to wear ear plugs for the sound system.
