First loss for Allen in that stadium since it opened, that's crazy. I want to say I feel bad for Cedar Hill next week... and I still kind of do. But now I think it'll be a little closer than I initially did.

Week 2 Other 6A/Post updates here

Allen got pushed by Plano East last week, then got housed by Atascocita tonight... They host Cedar Hill next week. I think Allen wins that game, but they definitely don't have that invincible feel that you tend to expect from them. -

You're talking about Dallas area schools, and you're right on them, but what Irving, Garland, Mesquite? And then how many Houston area district are doing that? Idk what the rose tinted glasses are that I'm using, I just don't think it's necessary for you to take a shot at a group of people when there are plenty of school districts struggling in football (Aldine, Alief, among others). -
Texas: a step in the right direction

Therein lies the problem. You don't care about women's rights to their own bodies. I'm not even trying to convince you the other way to be honest, you just admitted yourself that you don't care. -

They're in a ridiculous district at the top. They have a bit of talent, but no depth and they're not coached that well either. -
Lancaster 7 Port Arthur Memorial 27/ FINAL
dBerrySports replied to Aggieswife's topic in High School Football
One of them went back to Lancaster and I hadn't realized it, so I'll take the L on that one. It's an impressive victory no doubt, I don't want to say that it's not. And yeah, I was partially incorrect lol so I will sit back and give PA it's just due. -

The majority of multi school districts also don't have nearly the resources that some of those single school districts do for football. Their own stadium, indoor facility, massive weightrooms, multiple athletic periods, if they have athletic periods at all, stuff that have nothing to do with being Hispanic. You say you want to be upfront and honest but it just seemed like going out of your way to take a gratuitous shot at two programs doing their best with what they are given. -
I know that we're Houston and not SETX area, and this game won't mean anything to most/all of yall, but I just want to shoutout my team Sam Rayburn for winning 41-0 on Thursday night over Houston Wisdom. The game was called at halftime because of impending lightning and rain, but still a great start to the season for us.

Lancaster 7 Port Arthur Memorial 27/ FINAL

I hate to be that guy but so be it if it is the case. This isn't quite the statement win that it normally would be because this isn't the Lancaster team from the last few seasons. Not saying it's not an impressive victory. But I wouldn't put it in the "statement" category. A lot of the talent they would have had with the old coach there is now dispersed around other Southern Dallas schools. -
Been waiting, hopefully the Walgreens near me has it now as well.

Thank you!

I haven't been able to find a DCTF to purchase yet, and I want to know what the 22-6A predictions are, if anyone can help me with that.

Port Arthur Memorial schedule
dBerrySports replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in High School Football
Lancaster took forever and a day to hire its new head coach, which was bad business with open enrollment schools like Desoto/Cedar Hill/Duncanville swarming like buzzards. Idk exactly what Lancaster has coming back, but I think they'll take a decent step back and won't be an elite 5A D1 team this season. Still will be good just bc of the pure talent running through the school though. -

I just saw the highlights, those jerseys do look nice, but yall usually do the jerseys right. Hopefully some Ws do come, next week should be interesting. Random, but I got in contact w/ Morgan about joining the staff over there. Nothing wound up materializing from it, but I'm not too mad at it. -

2012 Newton: I got to Beaumont late that season and covered them starting in those playoffs. I thought they were for sure winning state that year, that loss to Cameron Yoe was a shock to me. Also, 2014 WOS and Newton -

Gotta respect someone willing to die on the hill even when it's not looking good for em. And I'm not saying one side is right or wrong bc I have no idea. -
