    No offense Brady, these guys haven't beat the best in their own Class. I admire the Bravado, but that's about as far as I'll go. You guys have been around the kids a lot more than me. I truly respect your opinion, only giving mine. Haven't seen you in some time. Hope All is well Coach. I truly hope the Tigers can cut the nets down. Certainly the best collection of talent I've seen in a long time

    We had a discussion about our Lincoln program and the good group of Talent we had. In no way shape or form could we compete on a nightly basis on the 5A level(new6A) & have the success we were used to. We would be competitive, but to think we could run every night with those big programs is far fetched. Don't get me wrong, we would fight like Heck, but we wouldn't have the superior team every night. The same would happen to Silsbee today. Competing against 6A every now and again gives you a chance, every night is unthinkable. 6A & 5A are totally different Beasts. The other classifications are even less talented. Listen, what Silsbee is doing hasn't been seen in at least 20 years, but let's not get carried away and think they can Win at 6A ball. Just Win the title that we All hope you can in your classification. Champs or Bust

    Hello, I'll give you a little advice. Be careful with the term SELECT. Many of these so called programs are run by guys who don't have a clue about the game. At this age, the kids need Fundamentals sprinkled in with a few games. Most of these games could/should be Local. The past 6-7 yrs most Rec League Teams started running to so called Select teams and our Rec leagues have suffered because of this trend. Many of the kids that joined these teams aren't playing the sport anymore, heck most never got an offer to play in College. When I think SELECT Team, that means my child has aspirations of playing on Scholarship; that's why you're paying the money for right?? Not trying to scare  you away from teams, just making you aware of how this is a Billion Dollar Industry & the Billions aren't being spent on the kids. I've run the same program for nearly 12 yrs now. My program doesn't hold tryouts, but we compete fairly well. The group I started with are Sophs in College. 3 of them are on Full ride Athletic Scholarships for Football(I trained them in that as well). My Son plays Cornerback for Lamar, he's been a starter since  his Freshman year. Just giving you a little background on how things can materialize without all the hoopla and  just to say it shouldn't cost a lot of money to play a kid's game. There's no way I'm driving my kid All over the Country for a sport he/she can play in their own Community. There are still a few guys around who think as I do. We are currently playing in a Rec League in Beaumont every Saturday morning. God Bless

      There are a few teams playing Rec ball now through the Salvation Army. The so called select clubs don't do as much travel because of the age of the kids. Send me your name & number & we can talk. I'll make some calls to a few guys to see what their spring/summer plans are.

    Please no, can't staple anymore names to the List. "Super" should be the very best at their respective position to make up a Team of 11. Next will be Honorable Mention Team of 11, MVP & maybe a Newcomer. That's it!!!!! Cut it out people

    Lol, it's hard to pick these sort of teams. I hope the Adults keep it in perspective & realize these are young kids. I know they may say the Award isn't important, but those opinions would change had they won the Award. Not getting picked doesn't sum up your Season or Career. If you're a Senior & are getting an opportunity to play at the next level, use this as Motivation. Good Luck & God Bless to All those chosen & the guys that didn't get it this time.

    There's CP3 in LA & CP4 in Beaumont. The Dagger!!!!!! More impressed with the Finish than disappointed with the Start. Way to fight through adversity. If you've never played a game of this sort, you have nothing to dram from in the future. Really don't want this kind of start, but it happens. Go Panthers!!!!

    Ease up Cuz, that wasn't a slight at you, it was a compliment. I meant that the Truth & Justice are sometimes hard to take. I believe you do your job to the best of your ability. Wish more had the same credibility in All aspects of LIFE. We can agree to disagree at another time. There is never a shortage of Controversial material on this site. Peace

I agree I may have read maybe a little too much, but you know what I'm talking about TVC Your outlook on many discussions are a little hard to take at times, but so is the TRUTH. It's ALL GOOD SIR.     I meant that All the comments made about BISD theft, which ALL were warranted(not picking sides) Never once did anyone use the comments or give this sort of benefit of doubt to any of the accused. We shouldn't try to paint a different picture in any such crime, so please don't do that in this one. I read carefully your posts because I valued your opinion (didn't always agree) because of your experiences. The assessment you made in this case does no justice for your expertise Sir. Hopefully I read too much into your post, but I'll give you the opportunity to clarify. Thanks in advance
