Prayers to the Griffin Family. I had the pleasure to meet Tex in Nederland @ the SETX Football show. He & Aggie greeted me like we'd known each other for years. Truly a Great Supporter of HS Sports. Mr Griffin you certainly have shown us All how to back your Team regardless of situations. You will certainly be missed. From one supporter to another, Thank You.

Give the guy his punishment & move forward. I have no problem with blame being placed when the rules are already in place. Now on an athletic note: I've read so much of how some felt of his lackluster Coaching Ability. He has had a great season with a young QB running the offense. He gets paid to Coach Football, the counseling & locker room security goes with the territory. So I ask, when does the community rally to support the Teacher/Coach? Or does he deserve support?

Coach obviously may have violated a rule. It's a slippery slope in my opinion. Yes I want to protect All kids under All circumstances, but at what point do you untie my hands as a Teacher/Coach? Kids trust me and look to me for instruction/guidance on & off the field. They want answers to why their things are being stolen. If I sat back & did nothing, the kids & parents of the kids are placing me at fault. Again, untie my hands. Maybe the Coach should have allowed the kids to just Whoop his Thieving Arse. SMH. Can't have it both ways. If it were my kid stealing, I would thank the Coach now because he caught him early in his criminal activity before it truly gets out of hand & it ruins his life or gets him killed. Can't blame it on the Camera then. This is such BS it turns my Stomach.

Gotcha, well I totally understand the Volunteering side of it. Everyone complains, but none step up to help out. LOL. Thanks for the info & good luck with the tournament

I totally understand Coach, I sure hope the people over the YMBL are listening & will take heed to some of the ideas being shared to get the Tournament back to a big draw as once before. Good luck on the Season. Tell the Big Fella "P" I said hello

Gotcha, maybe their trying to keep the Integrity of True Competition with the old style bracket play. I'm not a real fan of pool play. Ain't no pool play in the biggest Tournamen of the Year held in San Antonio. LOL

Hey Coach, what ever happened to Win or go Home?? I don't think every tournament has to have 4-5 guaranteed games if you schedule quality teams. Coaches should want better competition rather than more games, because a weak field does nothing more than pad your stats or W/L record. Playing 4-5 weak games doesn't help your Team. I agree that this Current YMBL field of only 8 teams is Pathetic. I'm not directing this at you Coach, just trying to gauge this new age of thinking & whining about ensuring 4-5 games. This ain't Summer Ball!!!!!

With All the lopsided losses this Season, great to see those kids go on the road and play to the Bitter end. Seniors you have left a lasting impression on the younger guys on how to keep playing through adversity. Great game tonight Ozen Panthers. Congrats to Livingston. Dang it!!! I've said it once & I'll say it again. No Team in 22-5A should be within 30 pts of Memorial. That being said; that should be expected. Just as Memorial wouldn't be within 30 pts of the Teams in the District with WB. It is what it is. There is one clear cut favorite in 22-5A, that doesn't mean you don't compete & try to win the game. If you get Blasted, it's not the end of the world, you still have other important games to focus on. A lopsided loss shouldn't define your Season, but it can send you into a tailspin if your Team's mental psyche isn't kept in perspective. I Love the freshness PA has brought to the District. Taking nothing away from the Nederland Dominance, besides that our District hasn't had much Buzz. This environment Friday should be 2nd to MCM matchup. Good Luck to both.

Lol, that would justify not having play-byplay. Just giving you a hard time. Just a Panther Fan trying to keep my head above water. Been a tough 5-6 yrs in Panther Land. Our time is coming though (don't hold me to a date)

Lol, this may not happen very often, but I totally agree with you. The one thing you failed to mention is not only officiating HJ, but w hat about the other Teams & games he works?? Kinda makes you wonder how this person survived 20+ years on the job SMH

It happens, that PA team is a juggernaut. Get out of there healthy & take 1 game at a time.

This same subject was discussed a little while ago & many of you on here had no problem with it because they shake hands after the game. My how time flies & so does memory when it happens to certain Schools. Get over it & play ball. Sheez
