No Team, I Reapeat, No Team in 22-5A should be within 30 pts of Memorial. That being said, the game VS Ozen should have been 62-0 in the first half. The play calling was Horrible at best. We had no solutions for anything that was working for PA, but yet they go away from what was working. Also to keep passing the ball while ahead 40+ pts in 4th qtr is questionable since we're mentioning Disrespect. I don't whine about scores, especially when being overmatched. Whether you Lose by 100 or 1 in District, it's still a loss. Being a Native of Port Arthur I don't understand what all the Fuss is about. This is what PA should be doing, shut your mouths & play ball. Handle your business like you should & get the young kids plenty of playing time in the 2nd half to help for a long playoff run. That's my 2 cents. Back when the Best Program PA ever had (Basketball) We never had to do much talking, because we beat nearly everyone we played, but we did it with Class. Not sure if the players are talking, but some fans sure have eaten some Wheaties. Just shut up & enjoy the Season, there will be plenty of time to Bash your Coach. I actually thought Vidor would make the playoffs last year because the young kids had matured over the years. I know it's only 1 game, but that offense is clicking & the defense ain't too shabby. Ozen on the other hand played 2 schools we had no business playing IMO. I told folks before the season started Ozen would be ok. Again it's only 1 win so far, but the Panthers have some playmakers on both side of the ball. Any team expecting an easy out will be very disappointed. Once the offense moves the ball just a little, teams are in for a game. Our punter may be an All District Selection if he keeps kicking the way he has been the past few weeks. This will be a pivotal game for both teams. 2-0 in District sure would be nice for both, but only one will make that claim. Good luck to both Teams & praying for an injury & DRAMA free game. We ran players 10 deep @ Lincoln for years, well ya'll know the rest. The only problem that can arise from that is guys not knowing their pecking order. We live in an age now where guys don't know their role. Unsung Heroes always seem to Rise up in the playoffs, the Million dollar question is, can the kid wait for the opportunity? Silsbee has quite a bit of talent and I expect a return to State. I think they can cut down the nets if they don't implode from within. Good luck Tigers

I totally understand your point, but when is enough; Enough?? Listen, I don't want to get on a Soapbox & seem like an opportunistic politician, but most on here agree something more needs to be done. Accountability must be established and prayerfully the young man will realize there are consequences for All actions, good & bad. I will no longer post anything pertaining to this matter out of respect for both communities. Kids are reading & watching our actions so we must be accountable as well. Have a great game BC & WOS. Until these sort of acts are Strictly addressed, they will be repeated. In my opinion this borders a Hate Crime to me. If All home games the remainder of the year were players only, the District would feel the pinch and Ensure this sort of heinous act never happens again. This sort of vile behavior must be condemned and exposed for what it is; HATE. You say the community shouldn't suffer, well I have news for you, both Communities are already suffering. What planet do you live on?? That one kid has stirred up the not so hidden Ugly Side of SETX that made me glad I moved away to go to College. I'm not sure you understand your opening statements, but seems to me that you're concerned more about Football than what damage this has done not only to the WOS kid, but to the Entire SETXcommunity. Yes, that's how deep HATE cuts. As for the people that liked your comments, I guess they see this as a Football thing that can be solved on the field. The more things change, the more they stay the same. So sad this can't be about Football. Unfortunately BC boosters & district will benefit from ticket & concession by hosting WOS which travels well & are State Champs. Punishment should be All BC home games played with no fans the remainder of the year. Only in a perfect world. Praying for a safe game & no further incidents. I've been very impressed with the BC program the past few short yrs. Hopefully the Coach & Community can get past this & play Football. WOS brass has handled the situation as best as anyone can. Just made it home from the Butch watching the Panthers & we were tackled by Episcopal players in my driveway. Lol Hang in there Panthers, our Family will be there to support under All circumstances.

This is the Year Silsbee brings home the Gold. Most Good Teams have to knock on the door a few times before they burst through. Whenever they do, it will be a few Titles coming their way. Can't live up to everyone's expectations, Only the Team's. Coaches from the stands, grocery stores & barbershops don't count. Many fans don't understand how deep a Loss in a State event impact's an Athlete. We lost the semifinal game nearly 27 yrs ago and it still sucks today because of the passion we played with. I'm rooting for those young men to win, just hope their homegrown talent doesn't get tainted by move-ins like some of our counterparts to the North

Understand, many of us on this site have experienced what you will encounter this year as your Son plays his heart out and leave it ALL on the field. Both of you gave me the pleasure of Coaching him in the best game on the Planet; Basketball LOL Man time flies & waits for none of us. Yes Sir!!!!! I was completely honest with Rodney about my Collegiate Career. He knows my ups & downs. My biggest disappointment wan not obtaining my Degree, so our talks are mostly about being the first in our Family(our house) to obtain his Degree. Football will take care of itself as it has through the years.

He's been working very hard, we're mostly proud of the way he has excelled in Academics. He's doing quite well. To God be the Glory. I've said it once, & I'll say it again. Corey Dauphine #1 recruit, Rodney Randle was a close 2nd in the area 2015, but I'm not a Scout or Recruiter. Lol

That Randle kid is on billboards around SETX. Made 1st Team SLC, will be starting again this year. He wasn't a big name recruit, had the Best year for a Freshman of All recruits from the Area, but still not much media coverage. Check him out for yourself

When does this sort of injustice stop?? I can't give my Sons any explanation on this particular tragedy. My advice is & always will be, Please Respect Authority. I don't have anything but my opinion on this incident, but it seems the couple didn't do anything to provoke the Officers. Just my opinion. Prayers for our Communities & the Officers who "Police" them.

Had an 8 yr old in the gym yesterday, that's the first shot he attempted, but before he released, I had him unload get off the court & work on ball handling for 30 min. Lol. Score one for 'Ol Schoolers

Can't be any more harmful than the 3 point shot, which has nearly killed ball rotation, fg % & mid range makable shots. JMO
