  1. I wouldn't ever put those 2 together and I hear you. If you were vocal against Kap & NFL, where's the venom towards the deserter? Certainly his act was more hainous than those in entertainment. I'm not going to bash the guy, but I can't stop it towards NFL nor him. Just curious to see how there's a difference.
  2. Nash, trying to give you benefit of doubt here. You screaming Foul on some things & remaining silent or neutral on others raises my brow. Is there any validity to what Tobie is saying?? I've been reading posts on here for years. Not taking sides, just asking questions
  3. It has no use in everyday life. Playing the Anthem at games is a ploy for fake Patriotism. Yeah good everyone stood, does that put them in any worse light than the Soldier who deserted if they knelt or sat?? Come on!!! Like I said I can't have it both ways. Did you do any Kap or NFL player bashing Nash??
  4. I still don't think the guy should be denigrated. He didn't sentence himself, I just hope we can keep things in perspective. Clearly this is an injustice on the grounds of Patriotism. Certainly this doesn't help the stance many have against NFL players. At least none of them deserted. All I'm saying is.......... What's the difference. I want to hear from NFL owners, Mr Trump certainly called him an SOB sponsors of Patriotic displays at games should pull ads. Come on!!! Now that we see this is All BS let's just leave meaningless Football where it is, and let the Military continue to protect the many things we take for granted. Unfortunately this wasn't the approach towards the NFL players.
  5. Wow, I have no Military experience & didn't sacrifice myself or Family to protect our Country. What a very unfortunate situation. Looks like he got a break on sentencing. Sure hope he doesn't take a knee at a Paid Patriotic Sporting Event. Let's see how much hateful responses to this news as there has been towards NFL players whom most were never Sworn into Service. Let the bashing begin!!! Burn his uniform, derogatory names, death threats. Oh wait, he didn't take a knee. Phone lines are open
  6. Hilarious. You know I worked as a Contractor at the paper mill replacing refractory in I believe the furnace. It was so Hot I thought I saw a UFO
  7. No, I'm saying the Employer is in control. They have found another way to bring attention by kneeling before the Anthem & Standing during. Still not enough for some people. Again, it's entertainment not life or death. Paid advertising(staged patriotism) that's more of an insult IMO, but whatever. To bluntly answer your questions, my Employer would definitely have the upper hand.
  8. JMO, over the years of reading his posts, he seems pretty level headed. I've read quite a few of yours as well Tobie. I agree with some of what you say, some don't like how you say it. Some is over the top, but we're all over the top at Times. I actually agree with some of the people on here that I'm sure I wouldn't like if I met them in person. At the end of the day, all is debatable & opinions
  9. Understood, I'm sure most of the statements on here get old, I'm just tired of the straddling the fence folks. As for the knee issue, I think at the time it was important, just as the lunch counter sit ins. What puzzles me is that many of these NFL players risk their jobs for what they believe, but why isn't the Protest at the local police stations of all those that protest at games. Certainly attention can be brought forth in the Communities where the injustices occur with NFL players spearheading the Protest. I don't have a problem with the Protest because they are nonviolent, but if the NFL which employs the players take a stance and says enough is enough, I don't know Lol, I don't believe it either. Still waiting on Santa & World Peace
  10. Careful with "malfunction". Justin Timberlake has been invited back to the Super Bowl to perform the Halftime show. Remember he had a malfunction. Lol
  11. Down Goes Frazier!!! Got him Ghost writing. Lol
  12. Whaaaat?? Careful, someone may take that as you're giving a compliment to the wrong side. Good stuff Bro
  13. Lol, hilarious. I'll have to keep my eye on those two. Surely the fires of debate are always stoked
  14. Who are "Ya'll"?? Last time I checked, I paid my taxes by myself Sir. Lumping me in with all these others you've mentioned is the very thing you're accusing "Ya'll". I'm not here defending the last administration because I'm not that well versed in Politics. I just give my opinion as others do & respond accordingly. It's funny how the voices on here want it both ways. The problem with this board is these debates or being discussed blindly. Discussions are great, but without action it's just words scattered throughout time
  15. Whoa, Whoa there Buckaroo. I never said anything about policies Or Kap. Clearly you have an underlining agenda with me or you're truly a wanna be politician trying to start fires in the rain. There is so much hatred for the Former POTUS and I get it. I have one question. If you guys/gals on here are in favor of policies & ethics, why is FLOTUS darn near a Hugh Hefner Disciple?? I know we all have a past, but based on the Morals of this Country (tongue & cheek) Trump should have been disqualified. There's no way Mr Bush or Mr Obama would have survived. Yet we worry about an NFL player taking a knee at a game that has no bearing on our Lives for the paid advertisements of a Billion Dollar nonprofit organization. We claim to respect the Flag & Anthem so much that our very own Military has to pay for our Patriotic Support. If pay wasn't involved, everyone would be on their phones, talking with other fans, or maybe eyeing some unsuspecting Woman and pulling a Trumpster and grab her in the........ This ad was paid for by the Tall Fella in the back snacking on Wish Sammys
  16. Fake media incorrectly accused you of making the two wrong statement. Error, that was 5 gal. My apology
  17. Touché, just as the current administration wouldn't call out a certain group & their action. NAZIS Lol Dude please stop window dressing. You said two wrongs don't make it right, so C'mon Man
  18. Hoops, he won't answer the question which is why wrangle with me & not baddog or some of these others on here. I can read between the lines, that's why I pose questions certain ways. I know the World won't get fixed in a few years, but I'm optimistic as you are. We haven't had much dialogue besides Basketball, but I'll agree with Nash on one thing. You are definitely a well versed individual.
  19. Well, NFL sponsors are dropping like flies, maybe Nike or UA will sponsor your track running. You're very intellectual, that's why I'm puzzled to why you're puzzled on my keying on the way you choose to dissect certain posts. Baddog and his comments were way out of line, but yet you choose to wrangle with me. As for Hoops, I can't speak for him, nor can you compare him to me.We are two totally different people with varying opinions. You & I have had our share of disagreements years ago about racial profiling, sports whatever. I just don't live on here. I can hold my own on here, I just choose to have a more controversial approach because of the condescending undertones frequently used on these forums. I was once told, "If you don't want to dance, don't play the music"
  20. Surely not, read what baddog said then you will understand my response
  21. You don't have to prove anything to me bud. I can stand on my own & chew my cabbage twice(old saying) I really don't need clarification of what end of the spectrum you're on. I just stated how much rhetoric you spew on here you choose to somehow condone the comments of baddog but dissect Kountzer, Tobie, big girl or myself. Am I reading too much into it??
  22. You can dissect what you want BS
  23. You're worst than a Racist, you're pure Evil. Man it must suck to live in Darkness. Prayers for you my Brother. May God touch your heart in Jesus' name
