what's your streak at? I have had two streaks of 11. I have won 24 of my last 26. I am at 4 now. you're a better man than me... my problem is that i don't start getting patient with my picks until i get a streak of 5 or more, so basically i'm just guessing a lot on stupid stuff like golf or norwegian D-league soccer and whatnot.

nobody could stop them... they would dominate everyone. those players play well enough on defense to hold their own.

i must admit, i wrote EC off after their horrendous 1-11 start. i don't care how "down" the district is, to come back after that and make the playoffs says a ton about both the heart of the players and the ability of the coaching staff.

i see what you're saying... i haven't seen AAW take shots at ya'll, but i wouldn't put it past him ;D

not to make light of a serious situation, but what do you expect when you're hiring senior citizens to play the most strenuous position in the sport?

is the market for cards still crap? when i was growing up, the card market was booming, and then it seemed like the bottom dropped out.

HJ, Silsbee, and Jasper have had teams forever. Bridge City, HF, and Liberty have new teams going now as well. WOS usually has soccer, but their team folded this year, so who knows. Am i missing anyone?

All of the talk criticizing individual players, and the personal attacks going back and forth need to stop. We're happy to have some of our high school athletes on here, but please keep your comments under control. if it continues, warnings will be sent out, and if that doesn't help, accounts will be deleted. i hate to be like this, but there are rules to follow. if you aren't sure about whether you should post something or not, check the forum rules before you do it.

For a school that doesn't care about anything but football WOS has done things NOBODY has done in the area!! In 2005 our football team won Region III, in 2006 our boys basketball team won Region III, and in 2007 our boys track team won Region III. I will admit since dropping down to 3A our baseball team has not produced much at all. On the girls end of it our girls basketball team played in the Region III final game in 2005 & 2007, also winning two district titles in those years! Our Softball team has been to the playoffs the last three years and went a few rounds last year. Our girls track team has sent members to the regional meet for many straight years. Don't get me wrong our football team is 45 - 5 over the last four years, but what other school has won three different regional titles in a three year span!! Pardon me for asking but what has Silsbee and Evadale EVER done????????????? Jealousy is eating you guys up! being from HJ, with our STATE championship a couple of years back in basketball, i can assure you that i personally am not jealous in the least of your regional championships.
